i have lodged my official complain with Ofcom. Was quite funny really.

Got through to them and explained and he said right, who is the ISP and I explained and as soon as I said Redten he sighed. "yeah, we are investigating them at the moment and there's nothing i can do but lodge your complaint too".

Grr. anyway, at least if this fatcat/Clode lot are taking over they will have to dish out Mac codes. Think ill request my MAC code on a daily basis too now :)

Good luck with that Gnipper, I have been sending one for 38 working days now, and still got no reply, I have pasted today's for you if it helps,

It is now 38 clear working days since you signed for my recorded delivery letter concerning the breach of our contract, in that letter I asked for you to terminate our contract and to supply me with a MAC code. As you are aware you are obliged by law to provide a MAC code within 5 working days of receiving a request, having already spoken to OFCOM 9/04/08 and I have been advised to inform them if no MAC code has been received. I have duly informed them of the situation today and shall continue to do so on a daily basis should this be necessary.
    .
I have also spoken with NJP services who have advised me that you are capable of generating the said MAC code yourselves, and I have also advised Clode Retail Finance of this further breach of legal requirements.

I await your very early reply to any one (or more) of the following:

my phone and e mail addresses here

As I say good luck, as you can see from the headers I send it to all concerned:confused:

I was just wondering if any of the people that bought out of Clode have moved into their new O2 broadband yet? I am due to move tomorrow and was just wondering if anyone elses has been a success?
    Thanks.

i went live with them yesterday, recieved a text at 5.00pm to let me know my line was active. took about 5 mins to set up the router and connect (just put the disc in your pc and follow the instructions) the supplied disc also sets up any other pc in your house for wireless networking. when youve set the first one up just run the disc in the others and it does it all for you.
Last night was the first time in a long time ive not had to tell my son be careful what you download, and to be able to turn back on auto updates etc was a joy. (shows how much redten and the rest of them can affect your life when you get turned on by auto updating something) very sad!!!!
  • Hi richdanall,
I've signed up with O2 also. Just wondering... which O2 package did you sign up for and have you checked the speed yet?

    Thanks
