Its like waiting for xmas sitting here waiting for my line to go down and hopefully reconnect with a service I can live with. Friends cant understand why I am so excited, but they have never experienced the agony we have all had to endure and some still are. If all goes according to plan there will be a few beers necked tonight_party_
Can you post as soon as its been done please?0 -

Don't do that - Tiscali is the worst choice0 -
Had an email from BT asking me to contact MURPHX to get my MAC code!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lengthy email reply saying they wont give me one!0 -
Yeah, thats my theory really. If I am promising them an order I think they will go all out to try and help me out.
Ill keep you all posted.
Like most things it seems to depend on who you get to speak to
I tried all ways to get BT to ditch the tag on a promise of joining them (which I have now done on option 3) but they could not help without a mac
I tried amongst others customer retentions and bt wholesale with no results
Good luck with itWho cares ??0 -
I was just wondering if any of the people that bought out of Clode have moved into their new O2 broadband yet? I am due to move tomorrow and was just wondering if anyone elses has been a success?
Thanks.
Still waiting for BE box - being delivered today
Won't know if it works till I get home tonight
Any tips etc will be appreciated from people connecting 02/BE today.0 -
Is anybody still having their connection throttled - mine was down to 28kps yesterday - only just over 5 GB usage when the usage logs were deleted. Not been able to check today to see what is happening.0
-
Yeh mine is still 30K up and down0
-
thats just wrong - if you cant even check your usage how can you be expected to manage it.
My guess is that if you exceed 15gb per month they will say that you have breached a fair useage policy and justify the throttling that way.
Hardly unlimited broadband is it!!!
Edit: just had a call from BT - nothing they can do until I get the MAC - suggest I ask the supplier AGAIN or ring Ofcom. So here we are back to square one.0 -
Used approx 5GB due to being throttled to 30K downloads all this month. Its certainly a good way of stopping you using up your 15Gb "unlimited" allowance.
I think I'll go and take the wheels off the car it'll save me petrol!!!
The question is how long do I give these jokers before I look at Legal action seriously?0
