Just a point on legal requirements for you to add into any complaints to the OFT and Trading Standards, you are required by law to put your company information (registered address and company number etc) on your website. NJP does not have this on the NJP Services site (well I can't find this). http://www.out-law.com/page-7594

Add Clode Retail Finance to this as they do not use the term registered address anywhere. You need to state this.

V12 do state this so there is no excuse.

Son had incurred charges through a Clode Retail Finance Card for Manifesto the Clothing Shop.

Sent Data Protection Act letter and received the list of charges and transactions for returned D.D. and default penalty charges which amount to about £160.

Also included was a very detailed list of telephone calls and correspondence dates relating to Clode chasing up payments etc.

Could this list be construed as "manual intervention" or does the term only relate to a person actually doing something in relation to the returned payments. It all looks a pretty automated system to me but perhaps someone could advise

one of a number of complaints re Clodes operationsL

    • arrange credit for others

      • you are just allowing customers to pay their bills in four or fewer instalments within a year beginning on the date of the arrangement.

How will I know which finance provider my account will be with?
Once your finance application is approved, you will be able to download the finance agreement for your signature. If you already have an account, you will have received a Welcome Letter from the lender.

    Clode are at it

  • Also check out the beaverbrooks site which also operates the same system as redten did. and identifies Clode Retail finance as the lender.

My finance documents identify Clode Retail Finance as a trading style of Clode Funding.

Thanks dafttbint , unfortunately b.t failed to mention this option during my hour-long conversation with them last saturday! Were there any 'tag' issues on your line when you did your internal home move? Had Redscum/NJP already ceased providing through the original line ?

I still had redten and my last login was 8th april at 10.05am! And its still active!!!!!

I lost service at 10am and was restored at 10.20.

Lots of kerchinging on the line but that went by lunchtime. In all a smooth changeover.

I was called to say the move was complete by the engineer that did it at 1pm. I did ask how it was done, he said we move you in the exchange so the old broadband was terminated and I wont get any problems.

They had to do a re-number so a void-number was used and my real telephone number was applied.

It can be done you need to speak to a senior customer services manager at BT to do it or ask in retentions.

I was going to go with virgin and told BT why and so gave me the choice to stay with BT and I did.

just spoken to the FSA and Clode are only regulated by them for Insurance sales, Clode Funding are an introducer for insurance products with Clode Retail fulfilling the agreements. Clode Funding are not allowed to sell insurance products, but they couldn't confirm if they were allowed to see Loan's. Referred me to the OFT, but also advised letting my case go to court and let the court decide..

Esex, from my reading of the court procedures and the law; if the defender thinks that someone else has an interest in being a defender to the claim it is for the defender to apply to have them included.

All the evidence suggests that Cloderetailfinance are the lender with clodefunding acting as the money processors. The logo and references are to V12Finance Clode retailfinance. They are registered at companies house for granting credit facilities. All communications are with Cloderetailfinance.

In fact my original invitation states that V12 Finance are providing the loan.
