Right, so what do we do about the court issue then folks?

I spoke to the court yesterday who sent me a form to add a second defendent. Durr. I told them there were 2 on there already?!

I certainly am not cancelling my action against Retail Finance as Mr Davies suggested but want to make sure I cover all bases. Thinking logically as Clode Funding and Retail finance are so close as to be considered the claim, one would hope that any court would appreciate it is easily confused and correct the error at the hearing?

Either way these barstools arent getting away with the stalling tactics. think ill call the court again this morning - anyone got any suggestions of the best way of dealing with this?

I've Reported them to the OFT via consumer direct, waiting on a call back to see what they suggest. If FirstClassIdiot is right, and they normally are, then it's down to Clode Retail to get Clode Funding added to any court action, not us.

Ill hang fire for your note then essex.

I think FCI is right that it is down to them, however even if they dont do that I still think that a court will consider the connection so close as to be immaterial to any proceedings. (which is how I think it will go)

yesterday i got my second none payment letter from clode,

it would seem that they would like me to give them some money for this second rate service.

I have had a letter from njp saying that can not give me a mac code BUT THEY can move me over to FAST4. Forgive for being thick but don't they need a MAC CODE to do that.

Nel - did you ask them for that or is it a generic thing that we all might get?

I reckon Redten will be bust VERY VERY soon so might be worth hanging on cos if they do then all bets are off as far as I am concerned.

I requested my MAC Code via email, got no email back but a letter today. They even offered me 24meg which I can get where I live. But the downloads is still 15GB.

Its looks like a standard photocopied letter. Or they have a crap laser printer!!!

Did they mention if there was a cost to moving to the 24mb broadband?

I tried their sign up to see what they would say--they first of all confirmed that I could get 24mb speed on my tele number--and allowed me to go through selecting the options. I stopped before committing and at no time did they point out their small print that if I was unable to receive 24mb they would give me the fastes available. Since I am not in their LLiu network that will be 6.5 still at the cost of 24mb of course. toying with the idea of reporting them for misleading adverts.
