I rang NJP to ask as to why my connection had been throttled (now down to 113 Dl, 334 Ul), he said that as far as NJP were concerned nothing had been applied to my connection - I should ring Redten!!!!
So yesterday I rang the 0905 number (India) and spoke to 'Martin', his immediate response was that my 'bandwidth was limited to 15Gb and you have exceeded it so the speed will be reduced until the end of the month'.
'But my bandwidth hasn't been exceeded, it is only 5.894Gb!'
'Oh, I apologise for the inconvenience sir, please email care @ redten et.c, and they will look into it for you'
'Nobody replies at that email address'
'Oh, I will escalate your query from here and someone will ring you back'
'When?'
'Within the next 72 hours'

i dont know - presumably the internet will just die on us - therefore no service, therefore much stronger position?
Unless Clode slam us all again? But dont think they would be able to as they are not regulated by Ofcom which they took great strains to tell me!!0 -

havent had a chance to keep up with the thread.. whats happening then .. anyone got anywhere, managed to get a mac or cancel the contract yet??? anyone going through the courts???
