I have just checked and my usage counter is also gone. Does this mean we are back to unlimited?Ron.

I reckon Redten is now officially deadten and you are now going to be transferred to Fatcat/Clode as your service provider using NJP as there backbone so they then control the service which they were joint liable for and have decided its easier to supply unlimited as there are apparently hundreds of people with problems according to clode today when i spoke to them and if redten go down clode loose everything as its a breach of contract.
Thats what the important announcement will be.0 -

Even if that were the case who in their right mind could trust this lot enough to continue with them you could be in the same position again tomorrow
The money most Redten victims are paying is simply not enough to provide unlimited bandwidth as long as the service is backed by BT Wholesale as opposed to LLU
and NJP is not a charity remember the same thing happened with fast4 and still persists todayWho cares ??0 -
I too now cannot se my usage, I was 52MB away from the 15GB limit, what happens next? I also recieved a letter form Care @ redten saying:
"Dear Sir,
Thank you for your recent email. Apologies in the delay in responding to you. As you know we take your concerns very seriously here.
We will investigate and get back to you shortly.
Regards,
Customer Services Team."
only took them 7 days after email 13 or 14.
I too have lost all trust for these companies Redten, Clode, and NJP. All say they are in talks with REDTEN but when you ask for a number or a name they clam up and tell you to ring the 0906 number, maybe they are making enough money on that line to float Fatcat!0 -

I was over the 15Gb limit but so far nothing has happened, no email, no speed restrictions.0 -
So if they do slam us to an 'unlimited' service, where does that leave the legal pursuit of things?Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.

Hi All , Just To Let You Guys Know , I Had My Brand New , 'clean' B.t Line Installed Today , Just 6 Days After Requesting It ! . Cost Was £30 , But This Was For A Minimum 18 Month Contract . Its Working Fine (calls), And I Can Now Simply Cancel My Original Phone Line At Any Time . Just Need To Decide Now Which 'proper' Provider To Go With ! The Fight To Free Myself Of Redscum/clode Will Continue...........0

Mine has disappeared too, I was just hovering below the 15Gb limit this morning when I checked. I also have had a message in the same vein as the others from Redten, it has only taken 34 working days to get a reply, no MAC code but a reply, I suppose we have to be thankful for small murphy's as the Irish lady said in the potato blight. :cheesy:
I agree with the prognosis that Clode are starting their own ISP business to return the unlimited service, but I still wish to move on and shall be seeking legal advice as to our position if they do, I also wonder what compensation they will be offering for the outage time, out of pocket expenses and the stress caused to their customers, they still have a long way to go to defuse this situation in my book.
They will also need to re-instate the original terms and conditions otherwise the breach of contract will still exist, sheesh, what a way to surf the net.
Lets see what the big announcement is, as if we don't already know, as the saying goes would you buy a used car from this company?!
Have a good bank holiday weekend boys and girls.
