Redten are still saying unlimited downloads subject to FUP.
Surely someone shoule have them about this now?
Or, do we think they have gone belly up?
Look at the evidence:-
Not answering phones anymore, (not even to hang up on you)
The 0208 number is dead,
Clode are doing all the talking.
Clode are no longer telling you to contact Redten every time you call.

This being the case then surely we are all free of the contract though?
Clode wont be able to provide unlimited access or support for the PC?0 -
One would have thought so. Then again, I'd have thought there are a great many things, where common sense would prevail. It seems to be lacking in certain quarters of a certain Welsh City!Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.

That's my dilemma although I am quite okay with the current service as I have stated previously, I could save money by making a deal with Clode and moving to say Sky or Talktalk. BUT I am loathe to give say £100 now, when in a few weeks Redten could be dead and none of us would have to pay anything to be free. It's a gamble I suppose.
For what it's worth, I received a PM from someone VERY well known on this thread, although he has been quiet of late.
He quoted my post above and asked if I really thought we would be in a better position if Redten went bust. He said he thought the postion would be exactly the same :huh:0 -
If your complaint (date of signing up with Redten) precedes April 2007 don't bother with F.O. just finished speaking with them, they will only pass you on to Office of Fair Trading, who will pass you on to Trading Standards, so cut out the middle men and go straight to trading standards. Personally I have just finished speaking to my solicitor instead.

Thanks JP but needed them to say that to me for the written evidence as gathering the evidence for court submission.
nice to hear you again FCI0 -

But if it did happen I'd feel a whole lot better.0 -
I think that if Redten died officially then Clode and NJP would push hard to retain as many customers as possible probably under Fast4 (which is no better than Redten ) just hope the "get me out of here" brigade including me dont end up with a tagged line and no Mac :mad:Who cares ??0

Not sure if this adds to the picture but I just got this from my local trading standards:
Dear
No further news of any value regarding Redten. However, I have carried out the Companies House search for the company appointments.
It shows that Baber Gulzar, holds appointments as company director and secretary, since 2007. It does not have any record of him resigning this position.
As I have not had any response to my letters to the Docklands and Luton addresses I shall try writing to Mr Gulzar's home address, as listed by Companies House, (38 Franklin Street, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 7YA)
