Sorry to say lads and lasses but I just accepted the offer £44 to get the hell away from all this stress.........works for me.......would have had to pay out more to take them to court and I'm on a limited income.......A weight has been lifted.
:oStill don't feel very good about it though:o

Justice would appear to be something you have to buy in this country which leaves a lot of us out of the loop:mad::mad::mad:

It has become a habit to check this thread though and I will still be checking it until everyone has a resolution.

    Good luck to you all:beer:

Don't feel bad about it, an awful lot of people here would, possibly myself included, just to get rid of them, (Redten and Clode) I suspect that there is more afoot here than 12 inches, it looks like my dealings with Clode are now finished as they have given me a deadlock letter, once again a single line e-mail, so after the bank holiday I shall be filing papers with the courts, couldn't see much premium talking to the solicitor today on the eve of a bank holiday, has anyone else lodged court proceedings yet? If you don't wish to post on the forum PM me please.

according to my legal adviser it makes no difference whether we take clode to court or they take us, its claim and counter claim either way.
so if you want to go to court just stop paying them.
if you do stop paying be aware they do have six years to take you to court so don't throw any of your evidence away.

Could someone post a Deadlock letter either here or on deadten, so we know what it says?

Well What a suprise. CLODE have yet again failed to comunicate with me and after promising a second time that they will be in contact they have not. I did not get the offer email today.

I will never for the rest of my life have any finance with these complete and utter clowns.

CLODE you are a waste of space and robbing valuable oxygen from this planet.

Admit your failure and release us all from this contract, you know you are in the wrong stop making us pay for your mistake in providing finance to REDTEN. You have the insurance to cover these deals so you should be claiming from them not us the consumer.
Yes I have had enough of this situation.

Dont feel bad you do what is best for you and your family. One of the reasons I chose REDTEN to keep in touch when I travel the world because of my job. For anyone else you do what is best for you, it is your life and that is precious enough in this day. I know from what I have seen around the world, what people will do to one another for simple things like water. With the credit crunch around the world hopfully that justice will hit CLODE hard. I can only hope.

  • Just to say that I've had a letter I sent to Redten recorded delivery, returned to me this morning marked ' Addressee has gone away' This was at the Jessa House address.
I think the whole issue with the 2 May deadline looks very suspicious, as does the information about Redten Digital going into receivership. It does seem that Clode are trying their hardest to get as much money as they can now, because when it is reported that Redten have definitely gone bust, they won't have a leg to stand on to recover money from us (not that they do now).
I've found this whole thing tremendously stressful, but it really drives it home when you see the impact it is having on the likes of ROPPA, paying up £400 just to be free of the whole situation.
