I am amongst the ones who has not recived any offer yet, i spoke to clode on the phone today and they told me that i will be reciving it in a couple of days, so i am thinking nothing wrong with exepting the offer so i can sort myself with a proper broadband service asap. and then take them to court and claim everything back. Is that posible?

In a word - Nope. If you accept the offer, that would effectively waive all rights to take it further. That's why they want us to accept it.
Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.

I bet when you receive it you will have to have given them a decision by 2nd May.

Doesn't look like they have changed that on anybodys letter, so some people got 5 days notice I know I only 2 days.

Well I got aphone call off Louise last night, I paid my £30.64 (she did try to get £31 off me but I stood firm), I couldnt get any money back from the printer as I couldn't and nor could she that I haven't received it, only Redten can do that, so I think that is dead money (just like the company!!). I got Louise to email me first that once I have paid the contract is indeed terminated and that I would receive my MAC in 7-10 working days, only when I received that did I pay.

Just want to say all though Louise seemed very stressed on the phone, she was very helpful, and honest, so people when speaking to her please remain courteous at all times, it isn't her fault, she does seem to have been lumbered with the awful job of being the face of Clode.

I would just like to say many thanks to everyone on here who have offered help and advice, a special thanks goes to Essex for the Deadten website, great job.

I will post my final results when I receive my MAC, good luck to everyone in their chosen paths.

Got my written confirmation last night.

    Its a bloody disgrace.

Letter dated 26th April, received 29th April, giving me until "prior to the 2nd of May" to respond. Luckily I noticed they were making offers on this forum so I had to chase them for the offer in the first place. Luckily I did reply via email but this just serves to anger me even more.

I have sent them letters, emails, and made phone calls asking for a response within 7, 10 or 14 WORKING days as I felt that was a fair time for them to consider my letters.

I didn’t receive a personal reply and still haven’t, however they expect ME to respond to their communications immediately. Any court in the land will consider this unfair and unreasonable.

    Wound up.

Just had a reply to my email - Nick isnt in until next week and will reconsider my offer then.

That was the last straw for me - you expect me to come back to you immediately yet I can be left high and dry.

Dont think so. Sod it, cant be bothered anymore, going to start court action after the bank holiday.
