I don't think you grasped the context of my last post and I don't know why you quoted it when your post had nothing to do with my comment. My comment was that I am sceptical in that the REAL reason for the deals being offered by Clode (some generous and some not so generous) MAY be that Clode want to get SOMETHING from us rather than NOTHING if Redten went belly up. Hence the unreasonable short time frame to agree to the Clode deals.

But they were getting something from me just not the £159.80 they were asking for, sorry if I mis-understood your post, I just cannot understand their logic.
Not to worry, worse things happen at sea so the saying goes.

yes i agree its fishy that they give such a short time to respond, are deadten going to declare themselves bankrupt next week?

The resignation of Baber Gulzar and lack of staffing on the phone lines certainly suggests so.

I see what you are getting at now, I don't understand their logic anyway as some deals are much more generous than others. The longest standing clients who have paid the most thus far, have to pay the most to exit now. Perhaps I don't understand myself I know my wife and dog don't :o

but I'm so sick of the whole situation and want out as it may drag on for ages yet, and my biggest fear is eventually being reinstated with unlimited and having to stay with this clown outfit.

If they could resinstate an unlimited service - don't you think they would ahve done rather than lose all their custom? Not likely my friend!

That's my dilemma although I am quite okay with the current service as I have stated previously, I could save money by making a deal with Clode and moving to say Sky or Talktalk. BUT I am loathe to give say £100 now, when in a few weeks Redten could be dead and none of us would have to pay anything to be free. It's a gamble I suppose.

Clode are just trying to minimise losses - they're legally obliged to release now for gratis. I'd have more sympathy if they bothered reading my letters and addressed the issues in them rather than giving me the standard BS.

the only gamble for me is what the judge will think if i have to go that route.
    my options are -
1 wait for deadten to roll over and die.
    2 clode to release me.
3 me to take clode to court.
i don't care about the mac code, i don't need it.
