No offer for me - despite me doing all the "moaning" stuff to them. Well !!!!ed off now.
Either way, wouldnt accept the offer, just be nice to have it in writing.0 -
I really am empted to go for it.
For peace of mind and my own sanity. Anybody taken them up on yet?
I may try to argue wit hthem though that the cheapest unlimited alternative is tiscali at £14.99 - so they should increase their pay monthly rebate to £150 -

If NJP want extra money, they can get it from Redten. You have no contract with NJP - your contract is with Redten. Thus, it's up to Redten to pay any additional costs for your usage, as they are contractually obligated to provide you with unlimited broadband.
have now canceled the card that njp was asked to remove from there site (they are still on there) and the bank have put a marker on the account to despute any payment to njp.
have canceled d d to clode, bank have put marker on saying in despute and not to reinstate without our permision.0 -
I just love the way that Clode start the letter,
Quote; 'I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued patience relating to the recent disruption of your Redten service.'
Continued Patience? Where the f**k did they get that idea from?
Anyone here been continualy patient in regard to this situation, I think not.
I for one will be jumping ship, they want less than forty quid from me to leave as I'm on a £12.99 per month contract and they'll give me a £12.oo pm rebate off the remaining term.:T :rotfl:  YIPPIE A RESULT  :rotfl: :T

sorry just posting this last email to nick davies as then if they reading this forum they cant say they didnt read it its what i feel is right and fair!!!
Dear mr Davies.
I am asking you why you or no one else is responding to my emails or letters!! and why no one is getting back to me about anything as you may be aware i do ont consider any offer you make to suffice you have had far too long to sort out this mess i cannot see you sending me the rest of the stuff i was supposed to get when i signed up and also i can not see you getting my pc disks to fix the problem i have with my pc which leaves it very limited in its function as from early last year !!! As I see it if all is worked out on a what I am paying for and what i have recieved since i joined up in 2006 out ways what you say people are able to buy out for !!! If I have to take it as far as court which is my next step with out fail I will be persueing all my gripes the items not recieved issues and the contractual issues that have been broken plus my cliam to costs and compansation and also the breach of my details being handed over to a company that I had not been informed of proir (as required by law) to it being done. I hope you see my position and any offer other than ceasing my contract with no further cost`s incurred and without penaltys or affecting my credit rating in any way and to promptly provide my mac code is the only reasonable offer you can make to me and in what im told legally is what i WILL get as an out come in court only there i can claim my compansation for such expenses..
many thanks.0 -

Have they already offered you a rebate of £12 pm? If not I wouldn't get too excited, I suspect the £12 rebate will only be for those of us who are on the original £19.99 or more per month contracts. I have just got off the phone to Nicola Dobson at Clode and they are sorting everybody on an individual basis, mine apparently has not yet been sorted but will be looked at over the next few days.
My next payment is due on the 7th May, where I have authorised them to take the sum of £7.50 from my direct debit, to pay for the reduced service that I am receiving, and I have asked for confirmation that this sum will not be exceeded, if I do not receive such confirmation by 1500 today I shall be suspending the direct debit mandate from that time, and set up a direct debit or some other payment method for £7.50 until the matter is sorted, either through OFCOM or litigation.
I have done this on the advice of my solicitor who says that as a service of sorts is being offered and used, it is reasonable to pay for it, however he is in no doubt that the contract has been breached by redten, and we are within our rights for the contract to be terminated without penalty. Hope this helps and clears a few questions.

Anyone contacted NJP to see if they know anymore on this?
Are Clode suggesting that after 7 weeks Redten may be able to now provide an unlimtied service??
Surely a call to NJP would confirm / deny that Redten have agreed an unlimited service with our free upgrade?? I can't call them as i'm at work.
Perhaps pay nothing and fight is the way ahead0 -

Apparently as Redten cancelled my line (according to them because I asked them too, which is true, but also asked for no financial penalty in doing so.) then Clode have to look more in to my situation. This morning I gave them 5 days to restore my unlimited broadband as he says they now can. They now don't think they can meet that deadline, and have to get back to me. (that will probably take them another 7 weeks.0
