I was just wondering out of the people that have already exceeded their 15Gb cap, what are your speeds like and also on the NJP/redten portal is their a charge against the extra bandwidth usage?
  • Thanks for your welcome Walber99 its nice to be part of a group who are mostly pulling together. However after reading a lot of the correspodence it seems to me that there are a few company spies amongst the letters trying to cause dissent!

Hi Loxbob welcome to the madhouse, only a couple of company spies to date, but they hopefully have crawled back into their holes, once you stop feeding Trolls they go back under the bridge. :D

    Hi All

I exceeded my suppoesed 15gb limit on the 10th of the month ( son was downloading god knows what ) ever since my speed has been down to about 30kbs. Still able to use the PS3 online though and have at the last count used 17.5gb. I am just waiting to see what happens next as I have no agreement to pay anybody and cancelled the card details that Deadten so illegally passed over to NJP, will probably be cut off no doubt.

I posted a long time ago that shortly after my card details (which was only provided to pay the deposit) were passed on, the card was used for fraudulent transactions so that card is now also dead thank God and I would advise all who's card details were handed on to stop the card asp.

Otherwise you may find yourself charged for further bandwidth on your UNLIMITED downloads
    Who cares ??

My BT phone line went dead yesterday.
Today I recieve an email from BT telling me my Broadband order is going through in two days. I cancelled it 3 weeks ago. As the MAC code issued by BT wholesale webpage did not work.

Clode tell me they are working on Redten to get my details passed to NJP. They never were, probably because I dared to try to go to BT.

So here I am in limbo! No broadband, no phone line and three years paid for in advance.

    Caveat emptor!!!:o

PS Isn't work internet access so good!!!!

My friend has exceeded his, but at the end of the last month (5gb cap) he purchased bolt ons so they retainedhis credit card details for that, he is saying that he has normal speeds and he is almost at 20GB now, so looks like he is going to get charged for the extra by NJP!

The seven day deadline from my final letter expires this Friday - if I don't get a satisfactory response by then (ie: account cancelled) I'm just going to stop the payments. As far as I'm concerned the account will legitimately be in dispute by then, so they can swivel for it :rotfl:

I've not had any broadband since the 16th april. Dont know if they are picking people off one by one...

I would quite hapilly do a deal with clode for half the monthly payments for keeing the laptop - if they were to organise my MAC code.

Anyone got their post today? Is there a nice letter from clode with an offer???
