It's going to be an interesting few days for all parties concerned.

Im still here too. Hope this letter comes in from Clode tomorrow so we can get the next joy chapter in this little tale.

Heres a thought though - if redten fold, how do we get a tag removed from our line / a MAC code?

It's a good question and what was my original concern when this debacle kicked off. I guess if Redten do a disappearing act, BT wholesale or NJP will be able to provide a MAC code - it might take a bit of badgering to do it though.

On past history I think NJP will be quite willing to provide mac code once the money from Redten stops. Or offer to transfer you to Fast4.

I think that sorting out the Clode side of things is top of the priority list. I'll deal with MAC codes later, when the requirement surfaces.

Can't see clode letting us out to easily if it's going to cost them £300 pound for each of us.

It depends which is cheaper - £300 to release us or £300 plus costs, time and hassle and refunds for months without service if they choose to dig their heels in and go to litigation?

Remember that they made £70 out of each of us initially and that we are about 1% of the customer base. If everyone complained then they might not be able to afford it but £300 from just a handful of customers isn't going to break the bank.

Either way it's irrellevant as they by law have to let you out penalty free. Up to you whether the deal is good enough to save any more hassle and walk away!

    Hi FCI
good to see you back, perhaps you would be so kind as to PM me with the address when you have it, in fact Deadten may be a good place for it as I am sure it will be in demand. Hope you are suitably rested and tanned.

Didn't say I'de be walking away, just that I can't see Clode being to willing to lose all that money. They would have to be very carefull how they went about letting us out of the conract. We may only be 1% of the customer base but if more find out then Clode will be in big trouble.

    Personally,
I'm waiting to see what the offer is. I'm tempted to see the whole thing though just on principle.
