Let's hope it's not another of there Bland blah blah letters with no substance and full of lies.

Why do we have to wait a nearly week for this as well.

Because they are currently trawling through google looking for excuses not to give people the service they are due.
My bet is they can't give unlimited broadband because of something to do with carbon emissions.

if they start with the carbon emissions bs, we just zap 'em back with the fact that the surface temperature on mars has increased perfectly in line with earth, and no one is pumping carbon dioxide into mars's atmosphere.

hands up who's ego is big enough to think they can have an affect on a whole planet

Surely even if we downloaded at top speed for a whole month - the limit would be the download rate x 1 month. Wouldnt that be a limit.

I think the term unlimited is soooo wooly that it could be mistaken for a sheep.

Maybe Benjimoron could tell us in advance what is in the Clode letter and relieve the suspence, if he isnt to busy having afternoon tea with his new double glazing / ISP Scammster / Del Boyesque Mr Gulzar. Just a thought...

Cant wait to hear what they are going to offer. I would quite gladly pay half of my monthly payment for the remainder of the contract and keep my laptop. (I only signed on in november 2007 - I aint paying 700 quid for a £350 laptop!) They could then give me my mac.

One thing that is really buggin me is the original mass email from clode where they said that a new customer service line was being set up. Its now two weeks later and ther is no sign of this hapening. Maybe this will be cleared up in the coming letter....

Personally I wouldn't wait a week, they have had more than enough time, I don't know a single person that has had an indidual response apart from the standard bulk letterrs. If there's a team working on it then surely we should of got a response by now. Set some deadlines on them, hours not days.

Well I guess I have a first, I received a personal letter today, it was unsigned and the information was out of date, but it was addressed to me personally with my RT account number on it. I think it was sent to all customers who had lost their connection as it still had the hint of a bulk letter, but credit where credit is due. One thing that did come out of my conversation though was that they (Clode) are in close contact with redten, which when I suggested they ask them to contact me and supply my MAC code was promptly changed to the fact that they only had the same number as the erks (us), so I asked for them to still pass on the message as they were less likely to be hung up on by redten than myself, as every time I have managed to get through I have been put on hold and cut off.
Still the young lady was very polite.
    ;)

What bugs me is the online petition..... only...129 at last count. I thought thousands were involved....where are you???? clode /redten as I am sure your watching....how about offering for a start everyone on the petition a MAC Code and cut us free. Seems like anyone not complaining are happy so keep em!!

There are times that i feel reluctant to post on this forum
I read this forum every day because i am very interested in the information being shared about how as individuals we are progresing with our one goal
fortunatly i can choose what i read and dont read
i feel that anything on here that diverts an idividual from the matter in hand and dissuades them from sharing is of no help to anyone
the way i see it as yet we have no facts from clode/redten other than an addmission from clode that the service being provided has changed on a temporary basis and the there were problems during the change over period
its been a week since i sent my last letters and ive had no replys my next payment by dd is due on the 25th i will have to think very hard about that payment
