I am mearly bringing you guys whatever information I can, if I am able to get some info that others haven't been able to then I will bring that info to the forum. Whether or not you like the information is up to you, I am mearly passing it on as I believe you should have that info.

As for your remarks at the end of your post, I'm afraid you're just showing your childish side. Right at the start I said we need to refrain from comments like that, it appears that several people aren't listening.

If you want my help then I will help but I'll repeat, I will NOT be helping those who post abusive remarks like that.

Who made you the internet police if people have strong views about Redten and want to post them on a forum then they are completely entitled too if MSE had a problem with the comments then they would remove them.
Also could you explain how it will bring harm to anyone who posts these views and what the harm will be.

No surprise to report that I have received no reply to my RD letters to Redten/Clode (though Royal Mail are so far unable to confirm delivery of my letter to Clode, posted 1st class on 8th April, so I've forwarded it by email in the meantime).

However, since Redten are now beyond five working days since my second request for a MAC (and delivery of the letter to them was confirmed on 9th April), I have now emailed macevidence at Ofcom.

Trying to call Redten at the moment - but been in the queue for over 75 minutes now with no answer, so won't be holding on much longer.

Am pretty busy at work, but will contact Trading Standards as soon as I get a chance.

I have just had a call from my local Trading Standards office (Preston). Very helpful, they told me that they will investigate and advise me on the best way forward.

The Home Authority only works when there is already a Home Authority agreement between the local Trading Standards office and the company. It appears there is such an agreement between Luton Trading Standards and Redten Communications Ltd (?) but none for Cardiff and Clode as yet.

Anyway they have asked me for some more copies of what I have sent and what replies (well that will be easy) I have had and will look into it further for me.

Will keep you posted.

Here here ,i'm sorry Benji but i find you dictating to people about what say on this forum rather patronising ,these are grown up adults and they can say whatever they like within forums rule.

Not so long ago you brought us some news ,even though it was not what we wanted to hear thanks ,but you then proceeded to use it for your own ends and have a dig at the forum moderators.This its self could have done us harm by them locking a thread we greatly need for communication.

So to that end Redten s**k and are a B8**8H of ******'s and if anyone dosesn't like what i said tough because i MEAN it.

I never said I was the internet police!!! You are of course welcome to post what you want. I am trying to help you to achieve the result and I believe that these comments make that result harder to achieve.

I mean harm as in should you guys take this to court (individually or collectively) then these posts could possibly harm your case. You may believe that they won't, I believe that they might.

I had a little dig at the MSE team as they promised to look into this for us and it would appear that they haven't done much. I may be wrong but as I had pointed out to them I have regular contact with Baber and may be able to get communications flowing, I would've thought that they would take me up on that oppourtunity but they haven't. This leads me to think that they aren't doing alot about this as that would be one of the easiest routes to get discussion going.

If the thread is going to get locked then that's because people are posting "Abuse, Spam, Offensive, Illegal, Racist or Libellous Posts/PMs"

Not because I updated people as to what MSE had not done.

I totally disagree, anything MSE can do is a bonus, but not their responsibility, you seem to take the word of Redten too literally Benji, Redten have promised us a lot of things and have not delivered, that is where the problem lies and where the users of this forum have vetted their anger, if MSE have deleted posts then that is a seperate issue and should not be discussed here as the REAL and ONLY problem is with Redten and Clode NOT MSE.

I simply passed on the info that I had, I never guarenteed that it would happen. I believe you are better off with that info.

I also never said that MSE have to do anything about this situation, they offered to help and people asked for an update. No update was forthcoming so I posted what I knew.

People are venting their anger on here, it's the wrong place to do it. If you have to do it then do it in private.

I agree with you that this thread is to discuss Redten/Clode etc. I'll refer you to an earlier post of mine again:

yes i agree these people are human beings and have families to feed but so do we, you were lucky and got a result three weeks ago, the rest of us are still fighting to get answers. and all we are getting are broken promises so im sure you can understand the level of frustration we feel is bound to be higher now than urs was back then. people have had enough. Mr Gulzar promised me a call back last week but it never happened. I like im sure many others on here would appreciate him contacting us regarding this instead of you. we are the ones still paying for something we are not getting.
