just been back in touch with ofcom they say that Redten cant be contacted and they are investigating. The gentleman who wants to know about my move to talk talk, just ring them and they will move you no problem no mac code needed. You get a 30 trial. I am paying bt £10.50 for line rental and sky £5 for calls talk talk same price but with 40 gig BB thrown in so I am not loosing anything.

Just got through on 0208 8105244. You do in fact get treated to some funky music.
Situation was told restocking free + charge for pc + VAT = @£240 would get contract cancelled or else restocking fee (£150) and return PC would also do.
Said unacceptable so advised to send in cancellation notice to Castalia square address. 6 weeks notification limit. They would then get in contact.

Also told that there was no way that the 15gb limit was going to be removed.

Hamish u should have asked shiraz jessa why he comes up as 100% shareholder of Redten when u do a search with companies house. I put that question to him and he hung up on me. do ure own search mate and u will see who really owns and runs redten

Those B*****tds, got through on 0208 810 5244, he asked my name, then said I had to put my complaint in writing, told him I had and that both letters had been signed for. Just said he had not recieved it, I explained that someone at Redten had as the letters were sent recorded delivery, explained they were clearly in breach of contract at which point he put the phone down on me.
They are really starting to P***** me off, just spent two days permanently calling to get that sort of response

ok, decided to get sneaky with Clode, phoned them and told them I hadn't received my equipment from Redten, all helpful we will get in touch with them for you whats your account number sir.... At this point I come clean and say actually it's not equipment it's service I'm not receiving from Redten. At which point he back tracks and says he never offered to contact Redten on my behalf.
Ask him to tell me why if it was equipment he was interested but if it's service I can get lost. It clearly states on my Invoice that the PC was Zero value and the finance was for the Broadband service so why the change of heart about contacting Redten.
We then revert to the normal circle, call redten put it in writing argument.

this is beyond a joke folks - only bothered if there has been a failure to supply equipment - whats that all about - the service is what we are paying for and not receiving.

Has anyone got docs regarding shareholding of Redten? I would quite like to use that if possible.

Still cant get through on any number - got through on the 0208 number this AM only to be hung up on.

SURELY there is some way of redress here, this isnt right or fair, how can these people continue to fob us off.

Just had a call from the Mrs who said we too have received the Clode fob off letter about them realising we are now not receiving unlimited service and to take it up with Redten.

HOW? come on, tell me how can i do that when they wont answer the phone, my letters or emails?? Im listening.

Thanks for that, I stand corrected, I cannot get the free service here, and the best they could offer me was £34 for a package and still required a MAC code as it had to use a BT line.
