Above post by lurksalot indicates £240 as acceptable so not far off. Might be worth a bit of negotiation.

Loaded if you are a representative of Clode or Redten why dont you say so and help us ?

If you do not post a sensible answer to this then you are nothing but a troll and i will be ignoring your posts fom now on.

    Last chance ,,,,,,

    hi handyandyg

Hi Walber99, just sent off an email to Mr Nick Davies based on what you said on an earlier post.

In his last email to me he was saying I had left of my own free will? But I've pointed out to him that I haven't left cos I'm still paying for it and that I am refusing to accept Redten's new terms and conditions, and I gave them seven days notice to correct it otherwise I shall be suspending my payments to them and keeping them on account until such time that the service I signed for is resumed.

You guys are amazin, what was wrong with my post above? Someone said on here they were willing to pay £200 to keep the computer and cancel the contract and it has been reported on here that Redten would agree to £240. Someone posted on here their solicitor did not want to get involved as it is very messy and could end up costing a small fortune - your reaction was a rebuke to this poor guy for negative comments. This was a quote from a solicitor, someone who may know a bit about the law, not a comment made by a postie or a barman. So if more and more Redten customers are advised by legal professionals in a similar vein they are not allowed to say so on here. Is that really HELPING each other? I think not. I am not a representative of Redten nor Clode but I am very experienced in arbitration/mediation. Sometimes it's good to take a step back and look at the whole picture a bit. One can get very caught up and single-minded on matters and the revoke about a solicitor's advice just shows how many of you may be caught up this way. Sometimes it's good to listen from the "outside" when you are caught up on the "inside". If you really want to help each other, you would have welcomed the post with the solicitor's advice. What if someone goes to court and does happen to lose on the day. no doubt you will not alow them to say so because it is "negative". Thank you so much for giving me one last chance. It is so kind of you.

    good one andy
i think it was essex that came up with the suspending of payments idea and it sounds like a good idea
i feel its only fair to withhold something..... a bit like customer service or honesty ...... after all if it its standard practise with some companys lol
