Don't want him anywhere near me.
If he is experienced in mediation as he says, then why is he not offering help to sort this, it's clear we have an issue, Clode have admitted in writing that we are not getting what we are paying for, so why not try and help....

I'll take that as a compliment as I've had a look at Essex's site and it is sterling work.

I am not a representative of Redten nor Clode but I am very experienced in arbitration/mediation.
So are you a representative of a mediation/arbitration company brought in by redten and/or clode? I think I can speak on behalf of most of the "victims" of redten and say that the time for brokering deals has passed, they had their chances and didn't honour their side of the deal within a reasonable time frame, so sorry no take the message back to whoever and tell them NO DEAL.

I have not seen you post one useful thing on this forum all you seem to be doing is trying to bait already stressed people into arguments. I dont believe for one second that you have no form of "business" connection withe either clode or redten, people already think of you as a joke so I suggest you slink away, invent a new persona and username and try again, you fool no-one, and neither do redten/clode!

I agree it does seem like a kick in the pants when we have been migrated to NJP with a 15GB monthly bandwith limit and they are still advertising UNLIMITED broadband. But one thing that strikes me is that Redten quote Cable & Wireless and Tiscali as other backbone providers apart from BT. It seems everyone on this thread was with BT, me included. no-one has come on to say they are with C&B or Tiscali. Perhaps they DO have unlimited and this is where the new business is being directed to. I don't know but it would be sure useful to hear of some Redten's customers who were with C&B or Tiscali to verify.

As in the words of that old geezer "please release me let me go"....come on redten give us the chance to leave if we so wish, you still have made a fortune off us even if you call it a day.
  • I've been reading this thread for some time without registering but finally cracked today when I got standard reply number 3 from Clode telling me that as I have service from NJP they 'consider this matter resolved'. Aargh!!
I was never transferred over and ended up going with sky as I used the MAC code given by BT.....have never heard from Redten or NJP and advised both Clode and Redten that I considered they were in breach of contract when they ceased supplying my unlimited broadband. Told Clode in my first letter sent 11/03/08 that I would stop my direct debit because of this if I didn't get a satisfactory response. I don't consider 3 standard letters, none of which relate to my circumstances, to be a satisfactory response and this 3rd one is a doozy. Have rung Clode today and Vicky (how unhelpful was she?) said noone will deal with telephone enquiries, you have to write. What do they think I've been doing????? Anyway, I cancelled my direct debit before this month's payment was due- I refuse to pay for services I am not receiving. I honestly believe if more people do the same, Clode will have to sit up and take notice.
And as for their scattergun approach with these standard letters - I think they are 1)trying to ensure they can't be criticised by Ofcom for not responding within reasonable timescales to complaints and 2) hoping that if they fire out several official letters (one of which refers to illegal downloads)some people will simply give up and go away. This will then enable them to deal with the (few) ones who persist in making complaints, after hopefully getting rid of the majority. Disgusting tactics, but I work in government and I know how systems like this work.

I think you'll find the total amount of customers connected via C & B and Tiscali is a big fat zero! Interesting point though.

I wonder what they would think about having their good names dragged through the dirt by a claimed association with Redten. I'd sue them for libel if I was Tisacli or
    C & B!

I might be tempted to drop them the bait and see if they rise!
