Essex when I get my MAC I will be transfering to Orange as this works out as a good deal for me I will get line rental, home phone, internet phone and UNLIMITED internet plus free calls to my new Orange mobiles all for £24 a month on a 12 month contract. Oh yeah months 2-7 are half price. Some of my mates at work are on this service and had no speed or conection problems.

I have 4 computers and 1 laptop on my home network. Usage is for the kids research, wifes uni course and a fair bit of Battlefield 2 for me plus general surfing and shopping.

Im with Sky since black Monday and have not had any problems yet ,faster than redten and support has been brill.On max package £10 a month free wireless netgear router ,i run 2 laptops and a ps3 online gaming and no problems.UNLIMITED as well

Is it possible for you to put a list on DEADTEN to show who has succsess at getting thier MAC and ending the contract plus who is still waiting.

For anyone else who - like me - paid upfront for 3yrs, here's where I'm up to. Consumer Direct (0845 4040506) advised me to give RT 14 days written notice to restore original service. I also rejected the new t&cs on the NJP site. After 14 days, no response. CD passed case to my local trading standards who got back to me within the hour and asked for all paperwork. They are getting back to me Friday 11th. Both bodies sounded optimistic for an eventual refund as I paid by credit card. Sadly, seems you have to follow this protracted procedure to get there.

those of you still ringing it goes like this
the phone will ring and either time out/cut you off
then you will get a couple of minutes off jazz guitar
followed by a second ringing that almost sounds like engaged tone
then an answer

that was my experience anyway
