Ok, just had a really long conversation with Nick Davies, he is under the impression that there have been no breaches of contract. and that there are only a few of us still having issues with the 15GB limit. Could everyone please call Clode and moan at that about the issue as they don't think we are upset at all.

They are still hiding behind the rubbish that this is to stop illegal downloads.

I phoned Clode today and spoke to Mike and Nichola, I made it clear that I still have an issue and Nichola promised to get back to me after she or someone else has spoken to redten. (which may be tomorrow as they have difficulty contacting redten as well). If there are only a few of us with issues, then fine release us from our contract and give us our MAC codes.

    QED

for those who don't know Im one of those redten customers who haven't been transfered over to NJP for technical reasons (I assume). after many phone calls to Redten, NJP, Barbar Gulzar & BTWholesale an order to transfer me to NJP has been placed yesterday. I paid 3 years upfront and I'll be happy just to get connected and I do hope the limit changes to 30GB or over.

    Ditto!!!!!

If there are only a few of us who are unhappy why is it taking 45+ minutes to get through on the phones? It must be all those happy customers ringing to thank them for their excellent service!

Just get rid of me as a customer. Trust me you don't want me. You can free me and I wont even try to get the cost of sorting this mess out back, and you can have that in writing.

Its not hard just cut me loooooose!

I'm spending all my free time sorting this mess out. I'm being consumed by all this rubbish. I just want to get on with my life! I dont want to have to start taking tablets for depression..........

I'd like to just stick up a bit for loaded. I was very upset that my broadband was blocked by BT but felt reassured with the info people had found out on this forum. When I was reconnected I was willing to accept that Redten had had a slight blip in service and I hoped, still do, that they would continue with the same or better broadband service they had give for over a year. However I was gutted at the fact that Redten did not communicate with me, and still have not, and they capped my service, with 4 children and no TV iplayer and 4OD get some hammer. I have now had to ban the children from anything but instant messaging. I find the cap unacceptable and have written to Clode / Redten to tell them. Now I have written confirmation from Clode that the service is not what I expect I will be asking for the contract to be cancelled.

Now to my point....I have a problem with Redten, most people on this forum have a problem, but how many are we 20? 30? 40? 50? Certainly not the 1000+ customers. If my mum had this service she would be completely happy (She had great problems and threatening letters from AOL) but I am not. Why should I pay £20 a month for a service I could get for £10 elsewhere?

What I want is to continue my contract for the 3 years on the same or better spec I signed up to. If they cannot do that I want out. If people are happy with it they can stay in. If there are only a handful of people unhappy, and these people are the ones costing Redten the most, then Redten could just agree to end these people's contracts, stop us moaning and they could happily carry on trading. I'm afraid that the problem is bigger than you think loaded and that is why Redten still have these problem customers.

    Det me outa this place.
    I know a great broadband provider.....I just can't move to them:eek:
