i emailed everyone and their dog on a few occasions now and not one person has replied

emails are far too easy to ignore I'm afraid.

And I do eat humble pie for sticking up for Nicola Dobson of Clode....my emails and faxes have been stonewalled since I posted that comment.

BTW Clode, another fax coming through...I don't think the Court will be impressed by the way you have ignored my communications either.
  • Maybe some info coming your way very soon guys, just seeing what I can organise.
  • I'm finally getting my emails as of this morning - only those sent after midnight but its a start.
Last night, after trying loads of different email addresses to NJP via my hotmail (all returned undelivered) I sent one to sales***njpservices.com - with an apology for using that address. Seems to have done the trick.

This may help any others who are having trouble with theirs.

I have just read the following in Computeractive, (issue 264, page 6, 3rd-16th April).

Mr.Gulzar told us these customers were not contracted to the broadband service, but would have to pay for their computer."There is a misunderstanding that the computers are free. They are not - the three year
finance deal people sign up for is to pay for a computer and the broadband is effectively free",he said.

Right, this morning's TO DO list:

    1) Fax Clode

    2) Make official complaint to ADVERTISING STANDARDS AUTHORITY.

Sending them copy of the advert in COMPUTER SHOPPER that induced me into the contract with RedTen that clearly says "FREE PC" plus referring them to RedTen's website which still uses this term. Sending them Mr Gulzar's published comments from Computer Active in which he states there is a "misunderstanding" and the computer is not free. THIS IS CLEARLY MISLEADING ADVERTISING, contrary to advertising codes of practice.

    3) Fax Clode again

    4) Have a mug of coffee and a doughnut - screw the diet.

    Anyone care to join in?;)

I'd love a doughnut - a nice fat ring doughnut, with a large Latte, mmmm

I've still got 4 days before my registered letters time out - and then another batch requesting Mac code due to total lack of communication from so-called service.
I also got to ring Clode for an outstading statement ready for the Small claims court.
