  • Hello everyone, sorry I haven't posted in awhile, but I have been keeping track of the forum.

Has anyone noticed that their connection Log has been reset again!!
mine was reset at about 18:00pm and then again at about 21:00pm do you think that maybe resetting the counters every 3 hours in order to provide unlimited???

my concern now is that they are getting us back on line and may start to say that the service will be unlimited, start to close all their open complaints with us and then smack us in the face with a cap again at a later date!!
basically to stop people persueing getting out of their contracts.

or am I just being paranoid again?
When you say the connection log 'resets', do you mean the 'Total GB' column resets to zero when the 'Packet Type' is Stop/Start or does your whole connection log get cleared?

If the former occurs it won't be resetting your bandwidth used counter for the month. The connection log shows cumulative data transferred since the last connection made.

[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]We appreciate that you have been experiencing difficulties over recent weeks with your Broadband Access from Red Ten following the recent transfer of service from BT to NJP.

All parties have been working closely to resolve these issues and I pleased to confirm that agreement has been reached on the way forward and we expect full service to resume very shortly.

In addition to the provision of a full broadband service we also expect to see the launch of a new customer service line to help with any questions you may have.

I understand your frustration in this matter however I would ask you to bear with us for a short while longer as you can expect further detailed communications on the above in the next couple of days. shell.jpg

Can ANYONE receive e mail on the redten email account?????? I can send but not recieve now even tried the 84.45.23.34 in the settings but no joy
I've been routing all my emails through RT and a proper mail server since 10 March. The RT delivery is, too say the least, patchy. Some emails are delayed for hours/days, some just never arrive.
...and now I can't even get at njp/fast4's site. Grrr. The only constant in all this is RT's site which shines on like a lonely beacon in the fog. You'd think they'd have the decency to take it down.

Check out the NJP members area. We now appear to be on a new account called REDTEN max. There are new T&C's up, not read it all yet (12 pages) but just noted this bit
"2.10 The service you have chosen includes a monthly data transfer allowance of 15GB (gigabytes). This allowance will end at the end of each month and you cannot transfer it to another month if you do not use it. When you have used up your allowance we will let you know by sending you an e-mail using the e-mail address supplied to you as part of the service. If you continue to transfer data over your allowance, you will incur additional capacity charges at a rate of between £1.00 and £2.00 (including VAT) per GB or part thereof (dependant on purchase time)."
    don't look good
