Havent received any email from Clode/Redten/NJP and today is the deadline. I asked them not to send any email to the redten address as I couldnt access it - surprise surprise I dont have an email there, and i dont have one at my work address either.

Regardless - I refuse to wait "a couple more days" as proposed by Clode. They told me a couple more days over a week ago. I have been on a non existant, then limited service (and still am I hasten to add) since the 12th March without any communication from Redten at all.

Redten "slammed" me without any notification, refused to take my calls and to top it all it has cost me money to try and resolve this issue.

Recorded delivery letters going today. Had enough.

    Yours Angrily.

Funny isn't it. They don't respond to our emails, but it's acceptable to send them to inform those of us of what is going on (I'm not one of those that received the Clode email by the way).

I have just glanced through the new t&c that has been put on our account details against the new package Redten Max. Few pointers on it:

"The company refers to NJP" Contract I signed was with Redten provided by BT.

Section 2.10 "The service you have chosen....." I do not recall choosing a 15GB limit, which will charge me after I have exceeded it.

Seen as I have never requested this service or agreed to this contract, would I be right in thinking that I can legally ignore it??

Have the emails from clode been coming through on the default redten email.
If so it's going to be a bit hit and miss if we all get one at all.
No the email from Clode came through to my personal email account, might be because I've been emailing them complaints as well.

I am not capable of receiving any mail from my Redten account, so I am getting nothing at all from RT, Clode, NJP or anyone, does anyone have a remote access site like the old webmail?

You will also notice on NJP members site that the price has gone up to £16.95 for the Redten Max deal. I cannot receive emails on Outlook although I can send, Have tried changing the incoming server from pop.redten to mail.redten and rebooted the router - anyone any other ideas please.

I received an email response from the email I sent to clode (customerrealations), nothing relevant, just asking me supply my account number so that they can progress it further.

at least it's the start of a response.

................................................................................... and we couldn't find the Fair Usage Policy on their website, although it might be hidden inside the general Terms & Conditions.

Typically the biggest draw back to Redten's offer is that it requires you, albeit understandably, to subscribe for a period of three years!.............

Maybe that was because Deadten originally never had a FUP, just the phrase on their website FAQ
"All we ask is that you don't download via P2P in peak times, 6PM to 10PM and that at all other times you can do whatever you wish."
That may not be the exact wording but it was something very close to it.
