Has anyone noticed that their connection Log has been reset again!!
mine was reset at about 18:00pm and then again at about 21:00pm do you think that maybe resetting the counters every 3 hours in order to provide unlimited???
my concern now is that they are getting us back on line and may start to say that the service will be unlimited, start to close all their open complaints with us and then smack us in the face with a cap again at a later date!!
basically to stop people persueing getting out of their contracts.
or am I just being paranoid again?
i agree like i said in a previous post lets not lose momentum we need to keep pushing0 -
Thanks for clarifying that F.
When I've been comparing ISPs in a little guide I got, the column in the guide refers to DOWNLOAD LIMIT.
I didn't realise our account with NJP was quoting download AND Upload combined - is this common practice?
That's why my GBs don't seem to go so far with NJP
usually everyone else counts downloads only

I have continued to follow this thread. Very useful. Thanks to everyone for their contributions.
I was emailed by clode last week and told that my complaint had been raised to a 'senior level'. (I have an ongoing complaint dating back to January). I still haven't heard back from them. I called again today, and was told that the person dealing with my complaint was out til thursday.
Thanks to everyone who has given advice re free pc and paid bband. I am going to write to redten and clode again tomorrow, and send copies of the invoices showing the PC as £0.00 and broadband paid, and the original web pages showing the same, again stating that they are in breech of the contract and that it was terminated on 10th march when service was lost and that with the invoices etc as evidence I expect to be released from the contract and no longer liable to make further payments from 10th March. I will also request a settlement figure from Clode so I can follow up in small claims court if I do not recieve confirmation of a resolution within 7 days.:rotfl:
Good luck to all in sorting out this mess.0 -
Hi regarding the data limits. They were set this amm from 11am and set at 5GB. There was a pow wow this afternoon and got re-set to 15GB.
As no-one has anything in writing from anyone --we do not know what might happen later. If you accept their breach is mended then you cannot turn round and say its not.
As I have said before if it is taking a daily , it would seem, pow wow to get a little extra then they would not appear to be willing to pay NJP for the contracted service. As they have had the money up front then they must be unable to pay for more and if that is the case then they have breached our contracts and they are unable to repair the breach.
I for one am not going to be misled again or duped until they close down and run away. They started this company with £1000 working capital and I do not think thats a viable base to support them much longer.

Hi there, I got a massive power surge at about 21.00, was on phone at time so didn't notice the exact time. Maybe they're trying to blow my machine apart. good job I have power surge protectors on the connections. Safety switches cut in and turned the router and machine off.

If you can't get more than 15GB out of them, I doubt if they'll give you 24 speed. They seem to think 10bits is acceptable for days on end.

If your having trouble understanding exactly what Baber Gulzar has been spouting the last couple of days I found a very handy translation website where I entered his words and selected a translation from his language to English with interesting results...
Also found this useful bit of information from the Gulzar Dictionary
