Dont forget your are also entitled to free upgrade to 24 speed for that cost whebn it is availalble and I believe BT are to speed up the availability for tst this year --commenced in March in some areas. I am in the sticks a bit and due to be done Sep to Nov. so big cities will be due before then. You can check on their web site.

read in pc pro that a spokesman for njp says no automatic upgrade to 24MB for redten customers

My account also showing download limit increased to 15GB monthly.

Still no emails since last Friday.

I still want out. Even if 15GB per month was adequate, who trusts them now? How long would this be for? - after what Mr Gulzar has spouted about the broadband being free. Some misunderstanding Mr Gulzar....thousands of us understand that it is the broadband we are paying for, with the free PC as an inducement to take the broadband contract for 36 months. YOU are the one that MISUNDERSTANDS......oh look, every marching soldier is out of step except for our little Johnny.

We've now been given the power to tell everyone! I for one shall take this further.

What if redten go bust! We've done them so much damage! They cant get any new customers. If they read this thread they wont anyway.

Future is not decided yet. Whay if they dont pay NJP. We'll all be in the same boat again.

My cap is now set at 15 Gig I posted earlier that fast4 the other half of NJP caused outcry when there unlimited was caped at 15 Gig unannounced that Redten started cap at 2 gig then went 5 and I predicted they would go to 15 at which point we were supposed to be so very grateful for there generosity that we would all accept it

Whilst 15 is more than I need I can not accept their imposed condition and total lack of consideration for their (for the moment ) captive customers.

I will depart Redten at the first chance of getting mac and endeavour to call a halt to Clodes contract

Some one posted about BT doing a migration (from RT to BT without a MAC ) I have tried with no success BT say they can not remove the Murphx ( or some thing like that ) tag who ever they are without MAC

I now have 15Gb limit and have got speeds of around 1.5Mbps. but its still a limit on unlimited broadband. and like you i still want out. i could spend an age on here listing the problems i have had with redten, its not all about limits and speeds thats just the start of it, for me one big issue is the way they have dealt with the complaints or rather the lack of dealing with the complaints. and now saying in the magazines that it is us that have got it all wrong. time that someone fessed up and took responsibilty at redten.
