Managed to get through to RedTen this time only a 30minute wait, the guy that answered kept asking wher ein their T&C's does it state that this is an unlimited service, Told him it was all over the website and my order, but he wouldn't accept that only said where in the T&C's, also quoted him his own Fair Usage Policy, but again T&Cs spouted by him. Told him I wante my MAc code and was told again £150 cancellation charge, refused this saying he was in breach of contract for not supplying what I paid for, then got into a debate about the so called FREE pc, he said this was what was being financed, told him I have a VAT invoice showing PC as zero value. ended up going round in circle, apparently they had a meeting with NJP yesterday and he said their MD had requested unlimited downloads for all, (think this might be a porky seeing as NJP are disputing payment with them. Mentioned this to him and he got a bit nervous, disappeared off the line for a while then came back and said any payment dispute was not his issue. Then went on about removing my capped limited, he said this was already done, pointed out that although the couters had been reset the spped was still about 16Kbps, he said he would call NJP and call me back.....I'm not holding my breath for that then0

 Like others my bandwidth has been reset to zero, but I've just run a speedtest, my download speed is 21 kbits/sec (0.02 mb).
This is the same speed it's been since I reached my 5 gb "cap" on March 23rd.0 -
Well I've got nothing to loose with the move to BT. The BT Retentions Department wanted to keep me. I was going to virgin. she said I've done this before. Came back and said I'll do a internal home move. The order did not error. But Lets wait and see. I await the 8th of April!
I want to make this clear!
1. What are we paying for? Free PC and broadband or Free Broadband and PC with a finace agreement?
2. Why would I enter a Finance Agreement for £769 for a PC with a value of £500 (even though its more like £350) even wth free broadband!
I could get free broadband with Sky!
Redten and the people behind the scenes, you know your in the wrong. My letter to the ASA is clear. They are breaking the law. They need to be stopped.
The only thing that worries me is the finance agreement. Which I've taken steps to sort out.
Goodluck Everyone!
I hope we all get what we deserve!0 -

funny that computer active didn't pick Gulzar up on what he said considering their own review here
One-of-a-kind free PC deal from a new internet service provider
http://www.computeractive.co.uk/computeractive/software/2172223/review-redten-internet-service
are there no true professionals in this industry
Cheers Professa,
I had forgetton about that review,
so I have just dumped the webpage into a pdf to use as added proof that Mr Baber Gulzar isn't talking though the hole in his head!
quote "Paul Wardley Computeract!ve 10 Jan 2007
Redten is a new internet service provider operating under the umbrella of Watford Electronics, and it has a gimmick no other ISP can beat:
sign up for three years of internet broadband and get a free PC worth £500............................
...............However, if you accept Redten's claim that the free PC is worth £500,
all you're really paying for the broadband connection is £7.49 a month (a sum which takes into account the £50 connection charge)."
So come on Mr Gulzar, start taking responsibility for YOUR company and it's customers that you really don't deserve to have
:j Free at last :j
