Unfortuanalty NJP Services have been forced to cease supply of services to Redten Internet due to non payment of invoices. This is a very unfortunate turn of events and not one that we have taken lightly.
We have been constantly trying to work with Redten to make you - the customer - have a more enjoyable surfing experience than you may have been experiencing of late.
NJP Services picked up the pieces of a financial dispute between Redten Internet and BT Wholesale on the 18th March and have supplied your internet access since then. We have up until this point not been able to offer any customer or technical support as part of that agreement0 -
has anyone spoken to NJP about this?
thought they paid upfront... customers are always fobbed off with excuses, tho we get it out of em in the end!

Just finished talking to consumer direct. Some information they gave me has proved useful at this time. They told me that Redten should be listed with either CISAS or OTELO internet and communication ombudsman. Guess what everyone..... They're not!!! :rolleyes: Then I spoke to OFCOM, very reasuring. They have now got someone looking into this for everyone and not on a personel basis. He mentioned I should contact the ombudsman as next port of call but when I told him they're not registerd his attitude changed why, because it is a UK legal requirment to be registerd. Quite a big law to break? I have been told to call back later in the week for more information.
Now for the important bit. If you have not done so yet contact Consumer direct and OFCOM and get a reference number for your complaints.
The more of us that do the better I hope.

I have just phoned OFCOM & Consumer Direct on the above numbers.
The chap at OFCOM was really helpful.He has taken all my details & is going to send an email on my behalf to REDTEN requesting a MAC code.If they don't supply it,he will take action.He provided a reference number for future communications.
Don't bother phoning Consumer Direct, they are only an advice organisation i.e.they recommended I send a registered letter to REDTEN & Clode requesting a MAC code giving them 14 days to reply. (I had already done this,letters were posted last Friday to REDTEN & Clode).0 -
