just noticed this on the NJP memebers thing.

**UPDATE** 27/03/08 - Email Issues
The issue reported yesterday afternoon was briefly resolved overnight but reoccurred earlier this morning around AM; it appears there is a hardware fault with the mail server which is why customers are currently unable to process email correctly.

Our network engineers will be investigating this further throughout today and will endeavor to have email fully functional again as soon as possible.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause to our customers.

Like you Colderuk, I was getting angrier and angrier by the day....ever since March 10th.

My hair started to fall out, I got dark circles around my eyes, worry lines appeared on my face and forehead, I started to binge drink, couldn't sleep, started talking to my plants, neglected my appearance and personal hygiene, my self-esteem dropped and I started to sleep around.

But hey, I now realise it's not worth it. Don't be put off by people saying Redten and Clode can afford big lawyers. What they are doing is wrong. They cannot squirm their way out with legal loopholes - we have at the very basics consumer Protection Law to protect us. They cannot write any terms or conditions to exclude themselves from this protection.

I know it is frustrating, us being in the right and them being in the wrong. But we WILL get the balance redressed.

Yes I did get a for vista upgrade but I had to hassle Tariq to get it. I haven't installed it though.

Yes I have just been throttled back to dial up speed at 17:00 hrs today, I have not downloaded any large files or P2P stuff since being reconnected on 19/3. 5GB is nowhere near enough for the low user never mind the people who have paid for "unlimited".

Over the weekend I will be sending off written complaints to everybody.

Keep the posts coming it keeps everybody in the loop.

All we want, is what we are paying for !!!

My situation is a bit different to everyone elses i guess in the fact that my account was cancelled the day of the big move to NJP so i should not have moved over.
So the situation now is that Redten are now paying for me to have broadband and won't release my MAC everyone i have spoken to from OFCOM to Murphx are stumped as to why Redten won't release my MAC and can offer me no advice on what to do other than speak to Redten which is easier said than done.

Yes and installed it! But you would not believe the excuses I got from RT along the way as to why it was not happening. The cost of my phone calls and time in communicating with RT and Buhl in Germany (the distributor) would have paid for... well... 3 yrs broadband from a proper supplier!
