I too am throttled - obviously at the behest of redten - but until they realise we will accept nothing under than unlimited broadband then the campaign against them will only escalate. I have had a tonne of private messages some from wealthy people.

All we wanted is what we paid for. Now all we want is out of redten and clode agreements!

Yes, I did at about that time, and it took me about half-an-hour to reconnect. Been fine since.

OFCOM will not help you get your MAC they have told me this on three occasions.
BT Wholesale will not help in anyway.
Murphx will not help in anyway.
NJP will not help in anyway.
Clode will cancel your account but they will only do it on individual cases myself being one of them.
I have now asked Clode to chase Redten on my behalf to get my MAC account i will wait and see the outcome.
I would not go down the stopping the phoneline and getting a new number route as you will be without Broadband for quite a few weeks before it is set up.

As for the redten bloke with the 0118 number its probably call forwarded too his mobile.
