Apparently I have used 0.258GB this morning. I have been on 3 web sites just browsing them, reading information on them, and chatting to friends on msn, downloaded latest anti virus and spyware. Who would have thought that would have been 250MB!!!!

Looking at my log i am averaging 10mb every hour and that is only checking emails etc.

A GB is a Gb isn't it? doesn't matter who the ISP is....or so I thought!!!!
Does anyone know when the 5GB gets reset to the new month? Is it from the 18/19th of March or is it beg of month to end of month basis, or do you think we are on a 5GB thats your lot limit from now to the end of time?????????????

ive just gone up 81MB in the last half hour and I don't have anything open on my PC (I'm typing this from my work PC and remote back home via a webpage!)

well if you all worried it all going up with no use of it then turn off all auto updates except antivirus dont use anything else flash adobe reader winowsdefender or microsoft updates turn em all of as they all constantly are using a little bit of band width by checking for updates and such and also your router uses a small amout as well checking connection status and stuff too theres lots going on in your computer that works on a constant check basis while you are physically connected to the router while its active !!!just put on ya properties for your connection and turn everything of and see it ticking away on recieved packets and sent packets with every thing off still keeps on ticking not by a lot but still sends and recieves while connected!!!
