One of my speed tests bbst consistently flags up major problems with the UK servers in both upload and download speeds, eg if my download speed is OK -my upload speed is not and vice versa, which need investigating whilst USA and european servers are no problem ever.
Only the UK servers show packet loss and droppage.0 -
Yes I can see that now I have looked again, thanks grg79679.
Would you think having a conversation on msn with a friend (no file sharing or webcam just text) would use up 68MB in 30 mins????
Apparently mine has!!!! daren't download my Java update in fear of going over 5GB!!!! Terrible isn't it??0 -
when I was with redten originally the routing through UK servers was about 7 or 8 now it is over 20 before the destination is reached.0

I think I'm starting to get somewhere with clode - I spoke to a guy this morning who has agreed to pass my complaint on to redten. The guy wants me to send an email with my concerns directly to him so he can pass it on. Benji, could you post the wording of your emails to clode, or email them to me? Just want to make sure I do things right...0

Just called Clode again, after I was promised a call back yesterday that didn't happen.
explained it all again, he tried to fob me off saying that Clode don't deal with technical questions about RT, I said, I'm not asking technical questions, I'm telling you what the problem is.
said I need to email this address and they will contact me back.
customer.relations@cloderetailfinance.com
doubt it though.
don't seem to be getting anywhere. will email this address tho and call them back this afternoon if I don't get a reply.0 -
oh, also the guy said that I must be part of a minority of people that have not had their problems sorted with RT, most people are apparently back on-line and working normally.0

The guy I spoke to tried that line with me too. I just kept reminding him that they are liable as the finance agreement is for the broadband connection together with PC, and that I'm not receiving the service that I'm paying for.
Anyone else made any progress with clode this morning?0 -
I have emailed Clode and Redten. I have spoken to NJP. No reply from the former and the latter knows who I am but I need to speak to Redten as they have not passed on my details.
I have just spent 28 mins on the line to BT trying to convince them that I do not want broadband from them.
Happy Days!!!0
