another thing i just been advised by legal person forget email and stuff make all correspondance hard copy will stand in better stead in a court and also always give them a realistic time to reply ie with in 14 of such item sent and always record delivery!!! and keep the reciepts. log all phone calls to such companys too. and it is clode we can ask to cease contract with for total breach of said contract they are in total breach themselves!!!

i have been advised to just send my request to clode and just send redten a copy of any such correspondance!!! and the main big one to go for is no correspondance from either of the firms of a reasonable time period of the change to such terms of contract which change our origanal agreement to which we would have had the right to terminate!!!

i am entiteld to free legal representation and am being advised if such contract is not terminated for such breaches im to take it to small claims court for temination and compansation !!

i suggest any one on low incomes to do a search online for a free legal aid calculator and see if you can get free legal advice/reprisentation remember if you win the other party pay costs !!!

has any one else noticed one of the changes in the t's&c's that i think is fairly significant.

In the old version it states under the heading contract. 3.1 The terms and conditions only apply for goods & services supplied and offers accepted by redteninternet.com.

In the new version it states under heading contract. 3.1 This contract and the terms and conditions thereof apply for the sale of computer hardware by Redten Communications limited and for theprovision of non_chargeable broadband services.

Well, I have had read receipts from Redten and Clode now for my official complaint letter. They have until next week to respond or I will get on at Clode. Watch this space

this change is totally irrelavent in the case for people that took the contract out in 2006 or before it changed it is only relavent to those that sign up when them have been puplished and on that agreement!!! but i must point out that unless they inform you of such changes prior to changing them in a set time scale then they have again breached the original contract!!

Sorry for all your troubles! Having plenty of my own trying to contact the Redten cowboys. I spoke to Clode and let them know that they were able to get Benjis Mac code...they said that his were 'special' circumstances. Can you elaborate on your special circumstances Benji ???...as i thought mine were pretty special too..i.e losing money through failed poker registrations, goodwill on ebay etc etc. Obviously not special enought.I have spoke to someone else who was pretty helpful in clode. He took my mobile and said he would get redten to call. The lady i originally spoke to today said i couldnt cancel my direct debit as they would credit list me!!! I think its criminal that they can continue to take payment for a less that satisfactory service. Has anyone else spoke to Redten today? I have spent about 2 hours hanging on . Maybe they have all gone on a long lunch at out expense!!! Also are most peoples speeds throttled? Mine is similar to what it was 10 years ago....pitifully slow but i didnt know any better back then!

I have drafted a letter of sorts that i intend to send special delivery if they dont contact me soon. Hope all yours work out.
