i had a couple of emails come through yesterday still on the old server
but i read what you're quoting is correct so i exported my account from outlook express, changed the name of my account and reimported the original, then changed the server from pop.redten.net (maybe pop3.redten.net, can't remember) to mail.redten.net. so now i'm checking both servers.
hope that helps0 -
Can confirm that pop.redten.net
as been working since Monday.‘I am not a number, I’m a free man’0 -
ill be gone for about 20 mins going to do what obviuosly is deemed by red ten as illegal downloading im going to talk to some m8`s on teamspeak 2 which is based around p2p technology!!!
Unwise and unnecessary to talk about illegal downloading, remeber various people read these post and threads, including ISP companies; and regulators who can gain access to your IP address; particularly ones in computer and broadband sections.
You certainly do not need to be illegally downloading to go over your limit.
Catching up on TV programmes for example can put you well over your limit, if you do it regularly --3 progrmmes a week have a hefty GB count --thats what Martin was pointing out on GMTV.0 -
outlooks having none of it! had it workin at home, bloody red bloody ten!!!!0

you can access email on www.web2mail.com if you are desperate - that's what I have been doing as a temporary measure.0

did anyone just hear the news on Radio1?
they were talking about people who download films and TV and end up going over their data allowance and are getting hit with hefty charges for excess usage.
They stated that "if you want to watch films and TV etc on broadband then choose an ISP with Unlimited access". - I'm sure you can imagine what I shouted at the radio0 -
Mine is set at
pop.redten.net
smtp.redten.net
It does work. My connection is very slow, before all this malarky I was getting 6.5 on the richter scale but now is dowm to 3 or less, Think rt needs nuking.0
