I've sent the following to watchdog at the following link http://www.bbc.co.uk/consumer/tv_and_radio/watchdog/contact_computers.shtml
if anyone else does this could you also send them the link to this forum stating where the page where these problems arise, I may help them to see this and how many people are having problems.
Benji, could you put this on HUKD as I can't join due to my blistering fast broadband speed.
RedTen are an Internet provider that also give you a "free" pc when you sign into a 3 year contract, paying £19.99 for the "unlimited" broadband service.
On the said date I was unable to access any websites other than a BT holding page saying that RedTen had either ceased to trade or had their account cancelled with BT due to un-paid bills. I was not notified of anything to this effect by RedTen, Upon calling their customer services I was told that they were upgrading the lines in order for me to receive faster broadband and that normal service would resume in a day or so. 1 week later Internet access returned.
2 Days after this Internet speeds were dier, Cust services say the lines need time to settle, in fact they have put a 5gb cap on my "unlimited" account. Called cust services many times, either can't get through or the manager just puts the phone down on me. The lines were not upgraded but migrated to a different wholesale provider. I am being given a degraded service and cust services are uncontactable or unhelpful, I'm paying £19.99 for less than I could get for free from another provider.
Total minutes on phone to RedTen = 180 approx @ 50ppm.
Number for watchdog, maybe if we inundate them with calls, they'll do something.

Breach of Claus 7.1.3 "in breach of copyright or which in any way breaches intellectual property rights"
This is new goverment initiative that all isp's have to enforce by the end of the year. This is to get all isp's to monitor traffick especially p2p for illegal download of copyright material eg films and music.

Consider it done mate.
You phoned the premium number???
Wow! I've phoned the normal rate number but have been on for about 10+ hours so it's probably cost a packet or two!0 -
if it helps anyone i have a copy of the older terms and conditions and the newer ones, if you want these send me a private message and i will email them when i can.
i am going to keep up the pressure on REDTEN, NJPServices & V12/Clode. every day i can until it gets sorted. we cant let them get away with it.0 -
Benji stick them on the forum I setup mate, theres already some details on there, although it hasnt took off in the swing I hoped it had I can guarantee they will not get deleted by me. If you cant remember where it is pm me over on HUKD. Or see post 406 on this thread, same applies to all.
You may well be right. I need time to look at it tomorrow as it's too late now! We basically need a forum where we can discuss matters that MSE aren't allowing us to discuss. We have moved back to hukd but ironically most people can't register because they can't access their e-mail because they're internet is screwed. Talk about Catch 22!!!
As long as people can get on hukd then we can continue there for the forseable future.0 -

No worries mate,
Have done it for you.0 -
Exactly what I'm using ipwiz, although through a Nokia E61 instead. Wouldn't go shouting about it as I don't think 3 really realise what they're giving away there. Much better than their 10 quid a month option.0

How did rebellion clock up 9GB on a 5GB cap.
Are we sure the 5GB cap is universal. My members area at NJP says 5GB allowance but that dosen't say everyone else's does. How many rt's customers are using this forum. Maybe just the ones with probs‘I am not a number, I’m a free man’0
