NPJ told me theres no indication from RT that the cap will be removed. They also said they had been exchanging emails with RT today.
Bottom line RT got all our cash in advance from clode when we signed the contract; they have fallen on hard times and now want to lower their broadband bills, and when we leave RT no longer have to pay our broadband bill.

Sent letters/emails to Clode....no response yet

I don't have to worry about NJP, I'm not a customer of theirs as I never got transferred.
I have decided to stop paying Clode, maybe they will then answer my emails and letters. I don't care because my credit rating is in the toilet anyway, I'm not suggested others follow suit, but to me this seems the best way for Clode to answer my questions, as when I rang them all they said is that they can't help, why I don't know. They way I see it, if they want my money they can find out from RT or NJP why I wasn't transferred, I don't see why I should do all the phoning/emailing it's not my mistake.
I'm one of the few (38) who did not get transferred, so why am I still paying £19.99 for a "Free" PC0 -

So far this new service from NJP appears to be broadband only, and so far it appears to be working OK. E-mail however appears to have died a death and I'm curious if anyone knows anything different? I got a working default e-mail account (with the password as originally provided by RedTen yonks ago) on the day the broadband came back, but after a couple of days this became a black hole into which e-mails disappear and are never seen again, although outbound e-mail is functional. The RedTen management facilities all suggest a 24-hour hiccup (my eye) and so I've set up with Google Mail. Does anyone have any insight/news on the e-mail front?
My email also disappeared into the deadten singularity over the easter break but began to function again on Monday. Check your POP3 settings. To continue working they must be changed from POP.redten.net to mail.redten.net0 -
have been watching these posts for a couple of days as my broadband connection has been less than dialup speeds all weekend. have spent the best part of 4 hours on hold this afternoon to be told by those lovely people at REDTEN that my account has been suspended due to me excessively using bandwidth. anyway to cut a very long story short i was informed that i had been suspended under clause 8.1 for breaching clause 7.1.3 by using p2p software. allegedly i have used 9Gb of download in 5days. REDTEN are blaming NJPservices, who i also spoke to this afternoon. NJPservices say they have not done so and any suspension/capping is down to REDTEN. REDTEN have point blank refused to tell me how i can cancel agreement, saying i need to talk to V12/Clode and have refused to supply a MAC code.

am i right in saying since they have suspended services without giving me notice they are in breach of these terms and conditions?
futhermore i signed up for unlimited broadband with no caps and under the impreession according to the fair usage policy that if my usage was extremely heavy it would only be managed during peak hours.
this is just the latest installment in the neverending list of problems i have had with REDTEN.0 -
I'll take the fact that my posts are being deleted as notification that MSE don't want to answer why my posts are being deleted. If you don't want to answer then just say you don't want to answer. If you leave this post here then I'll leave it at that. If you delete it again then I'll re-post.
If it's unreasonable to ask why my posts are being deleted then just say so and we can be done with this.0
