Because we could take them to court if they don't get their act together?

in their worst scenario they will be the last ones in the chain, even join liable they will ask redten to compensate their loses and only if redten go bust they can lose something.

You're probably right, I like to think that hassling them on the phone will get them into action too.
  • i just spoke to ofcom

"redten are in the process of being taken over"

    me: are you sure?

    "thats what i've been told"

me: are you sure their not simply changing supplier?

"I've been told they are being taken over".

I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE but its certainly new to me.

My call ref to ofcom was 1-50668735

lol now i have a question for you all on the origanal v12 forms i dont know whether every one else did this too but i for signed the form on behalf of clode at the bottom now dont know how this stands but what i read on the credit act it states it must be co signed by them now by me signing it on behalf of them does that cover that clause legaly or not if not it does meant we are not legaly bound by this contract with clode and they neither can legaly enforce it so does it matter that it was signed by myself or not?? any one know?

so in contractual terms to us this means what

    a. the new company has to gives us what redten was supplying?

    b. we should have been notified of this change one month or what ever it was supposed to be before doing so ?

    c. we have the right to cancel any obligation to them as they have not upheld or honred the contract in both scenerios???
  • I'd say whilst it's interesting it doesn't really mean anything. If they do get taken over it's just another company in their place to answer the phone, or not!
