  • To find the forum where we can discuss the issues without our posts being deleted search for "redten gone bust" on google, it's the first result.

I doubt that clode would do anything while they receiving our money in time. however cancelling DD would put us in not right position against these couple.

by the way i read elsewhere that you firstclassidiot have ceased all payments to clode i mentioned earlier about clodes letter about change of charges on certain things like card and cheque payments but it also stippulated on it that you will be charged 1.6% on any late charges on direct debit too so if you fail to pay other than the charges of
30pound for returned direct debit cheque
and 12 pound payable each month the account is overdue
you will also have to pay the 1.6% on that months charge too could work out very costly to cancel your direct debit payments to clode!!!
did any one else recieve this letter today ??
  • macO I got the same letter a few days ago. I think its just an attempt to shift clode debtors from chq/cc to direct debit payment (cheaper for clode to process) but who knows!

yes i know that and also budget has arrived so rates go up but my point to that was why were they putting what the charges of late direct debit payment would be maybe im getting paraniod now like most of the others here lol but i just thought that strange but then again it does cover them in the law by informing us of the change to charges but being paraniod i just thought it was thrown in to say default over this and we will bleed you dry!!!

Not a choice they can make I'm afraid. They are joint liable under the consumer credit act.

Going to keep calling and keeping the pressure on until I get a result, I suggest you all do the same.
