Thanks Andy88, your absolutely right, I had it so wrong. It all makes sense now!
I also called Orange back to clarify about the free £5 worth of calls promotion. This is only to a landline number abroad and only valid for a month.
Thanks again!!0 -
Simply-fone works on T-mobile, calls are classed as normal x-net calls and are therefore free if used within your monthly call allowance.0

I used the 07744 974333 to call Colombia. However, I've just had my mobile phone bill in (Singlepoint, Vodafone partner) and I've been charged 25p per minute for calling the number. I phoned Singlepoint to find out why the number didn't come out of my inclusive cross network minutes, and they said that the number originates in Guernsey and is not classified as a UK call, but as an International call. I've been stung for £35 worth of calls in a month. In summary, do NOT use 07744 974333 for international calls.0

Hi,
only had my new phone a month (on the 500 minutes/100 texts a month package).
I have asked Customer Services and I have emailed to confirm if the access number is included in the minutes. Both said it was.
Haven't used the number from my phone yet but i will and will update the post when i know.
Thanks

Thanks in advance for more info; I've got that contract too
edit - conflicting info; they just told me (phone) chargeable; asked why - she said she can only pass on the information0 -
Help, who can answer this one for me. I have a friend who is going to Turkey for a month and I want to be able to call them using my Orange free inclusive minutes via Simply-Fone will this work if they take a UK mobile & sim with them or do they need to buy a Turkish sim when they get there? Thanks0
-
milgo, Simply-fone is for ringing foreign numbers.
You could ring the British mobile direct from Orange, but then that one would be subject to roaming charges.
So yes, your friend gets a Turkish SIM (the phone may need unlocking) and you use the S-F access, available daytime acc to website. Don't forget - don't dial send after the 2nd number; best to save the 2 numbers together with pause character between.0 -
can anyone confirm whether the simplyfone service works with all t-mobile contracts or a select few.Sarah x0
