Ok Hadrian..... Whatever?! I think ur heads away!
Neferek when I initially started the chargeback before the refund was requested. When I sent the forms off, I included a copy of all emails, including the couple from them stating that they had 'processed'.
I think that would count as a refund slip? To be honest I just pestered them with emails to the point where it was easier for them to reply to get rid of me!DFW'ers photography comp member no. 60 -
Very poor experience-NEVER again.
Delays for promised delivery, then no-shows despite promises so we cancelled the order. Now 6 weeks later after having confirmed "refund initiated on 22/12" no credit has been received and multiple emails unanswered. Sent further email today questioning whether it is FRAUD. Credit card company now involved.0 -
Headd from what I understand, if you bought on a credit card, you are well covered and the card company should return your money?DFW'ers photography comp member no. 60

I haven't received any emails stating that they've processed the refund, only one email saying that they will complete the transfer on that day (25th Jan; signed: Lee) with an explanation for the delay that my emails ended up in their junk folder! And an order status change the next day, as mentioned before.
The bank people said a refund slip must have a date, account number, amount and info on when the refund was made, and of course I've got nothing like that.
I've contacted the consumer standards today as well. I'll wait until they reply.
I will be sending them emails all the time from now on, but I'm afraid this might not result in anything. My husband also sent them an email today from his accounts, just to make sure they won't use the same junk mail excuse again. I'm praying for a reaction by tomorrow. ;(0 -
Hello fellow conned.
I ordered a power supply for a 40gb PS3 on Jan 2nd from JOAG. I e-mailed them 11th Jan, to see where the order was, and I received a response (12th Jan) that due to a busy December, they had a backlog of orders and ETA for delivery was now "18th / 20th Jan (latest)". Fine. I then waited until 26th Jan, when I e-mailed again, requesting an update. I received a response confirming that "we still restocking on some products. The ETA for delivery of your order will be 2nd or 3rd feb. If the delay is to long and you wish to cancel the order please email with your order number and we will cancel the order for you". I sent an e-mail on 29 Jan confirming, as above, that the delay was too long, and that I now wanted a refund in respect of my payment. I received no response, so e-mailed again on 3rd Feb, and received no response in the following 24 hours. I have also sent a further e-mail through their website contact system.
I can see that there are plenty of people that have got into this for a longer duration, have had more correspondence with them (at least in one direction), and have spent more money than myself, however, these reports suggest that my concerns about my own situation are not paranoia.
I note from the Companies House website (sorry, new user, no links, but it's easily found!), and as previously mentioned by Sichand, that the same people involved with Jack of all Games , were involved in Trade Cameras Ltd (although not 100% sure they have anything to do with current Trade Cameras Online Limited, although who knows?). Point is, TC Ltd got dissolved, and there are cases all over the internet of people getting conned by this company, and yet it would seem the same people have been allowed to create another company and continue doing the same thing. Either they are incompetant, in which case, someone with the power to do so needs to help them out and stop them from doing this in future, or they are con-artists.
I have escalated this matter with Paypal, and guess I'll wait to hear from them. There appears to be a whole lot of background to this company, associated companies, and directors, and I am going to rattle off an e-mail to BBC Watchdog, with some of my concerns and rough findings (which if they were to pick up, they may be able to corroborate), so if anyone is happy for me to reference examples they have cited, I would be happy to include it in my 'dossier'.
I cannot fathom how they can get away with it, particularly in light of their apparent history. 0 -
...although not 100% sure they have anything to do with current Trade Cameras Online Limited, although who knows?
For the sake of clarity Trade Cameras Online Ltd do not appear to be connected in anyway with Trade Cameras Ltd who were finally dissolved in January having gone into voluntary liquidation in June 2010. Only one director was declared on formation of Trade Cameras Online Ltd in December 2009 and there are no obvious links between him and JOAG or any of its other iterations whether by name, registered office, other common addresses or telephone numbers.
Part of the problem - in terms of some of the comments I've read on other forums - would seem to be that some people have confused the two and, let's face it, it isn't difficult. Trade Cameras Ltd and Trade Cameras Online Ltd.
The latter gives the impression of being a drop-shipping operation (i.e. they act as a middleman between purchasers here and suppliers usually (but not always) in the Far East who then deliver direct - hence the delays.
Is Mr Tal Marwood also known as Talat Mahmoud? My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

Needless to say i have sent the letter again this time with JOAG on the envelope. I shall wait and see what happens.

I to ordered from this site on the 8th January, had the same response as you guys due to a busy christmas a lot of products out of stock. New delivery date 2nd - 3rd Feb, seems that is what they are telling a lot of people. Still nothing, I have never experienced anything like this before. I am always so careful, however I did pay by credit card as that is a must. Will contact them today and get this resolved.
Lets hope we all get our money back.0 -
Let's face it, seems like these guys are crooks and quite a few of us have been ripped off. I just can't understand how they are allowed to continue to operate with the 'support' of companies like PayPal etc.0

I really thought I was screwed and wasn't going to see my money again! Thankfully they did process my refund tho, but I'm not sure if I was lucky or if they are just normally sooo slow to do anything?!
I can remember reading a review saying that they take your money and then purchase your item from pixmania or another overseas company(thus it's a grey import), and they get it at a much cheaper price? This would explain the long delays, and the complaints?
Bobzilla it really is frustrating not knowing are they just slow in processing your request, or are they in the midst of going bust in which case you start worrying about losing your money.
This prob wont ease your fears, but I kept checking their eBay shop to see if they were still processing transactions on their.
Just did a search of their eBay shop their now, and unfortunatey they have NO current listings!!?:( Here's the link to check yourself....
