  • Just an update to tell anyone else using JOAG and getting worried, that after another email from me that I've received a reply from them saying refund has been completed and may take 2-3 days so I'll give you the nod if/when I get it. Perhaps I was worrying to much about losing my money after all?:j

Hi new user here. This topic caught my attention!!!

I to have had the miss pleasure of dealing with this cowboy company. I made an order with them on the (9th of January)
They never took my money for a full week (15th January) I should have cancelled it then but i didn't
I have emailed them 4 times now with only one reply from them on the (24th January) saying they had past the inquiry onto the accounts dept. I am still waiting to hear from them.

So 19 days on i have no item and no money they better get a move on with a refund before a lawyer gets involved. Also i am just of the phone to tradings standards there who have told me to send a recorder letter

Is there such a thing as phone number for this company

Really and truly disgusted with this joke of a firm. A could swer but dont want to get kicked of with my first post

Hi Santer cheers for that. But i have already tried that number and all it is, is some automotive message crap saying they dont take calls just emails.
  • Sorry Bobzilla I don't mean to laugh but.... Phah!! 4 emails? That's nothing!!

To date I've sent 25 emails and only had 5 replies! I've been waiting for a refund for the past three weeks, which they stated they processed two weeks ago.

I have asked for them to confirm account details to which they sent the refund, but 5 emails from me later, and still no reply(or money)!

I paid with a visa debit card so spoke to the bank, and they have asked me to submit a chargeback dispute form, which I sent off yesterday. Thankfully I'd saved all correspondence, which totalled 35ish pages! Apparently they will then take money back out of their account, and then start an investigation.

Let me know how your experience turns out?

  • Do you think this company is going into administration as I have read lots of bad reviews lately that they can't even deliver the items?

I got my bad experience too. Ordered nikon D3100, paid £399.99 thru paypal. I opened a dispute two weeks after no sign of delivery.
then someone named Tim Monton, (yes I saw somebody mentioned the name here!) emailed me about new shipment coming on 24th jan.

I agreed to wait and close the dispute on paypal! (stupid me, I know).
Now I hope the visa chargeback really works for me! otherwise i'll go mental!
