Let's face it, seems like these guys are crooks and quite a few of us have been ripped off. I just can't understand how they are allowed to continue to operate with the 'support' of companies like PayPal etc.
However, drop-shipping (which is what a lot of these types of sites are about) is a notoriously unreliable and unpredictable business to pull off because it relies on too many factors completely beyond the control of the website/business operator. Many who play at it get their fingers seriously burnt usually because they make promises they can't follow through on either in terms of the product itself, delivery time-scales or price. These well-known difficulties also provide cover for those who are simply looking to line their pockets.
Boiling it down to gravy, they are "allowed" to operate because they have the air of legitimacy up to the point where they collapse (financially) and trying, then, to distinguish between those who always intended to implode their businesses and those who kept going to the bitter end in the hope they can pull it around is almost impossible.
The more people who get to understand that that these companies have no substance - as such - despite their online appearance is the only way the less trustworthy will be weeded out. In addition, knowing that you might lose out in trying to satisfy the urge to get expensive kit at a big discount would also help.
I suppose the secret is to check out review websites and always check feedback as well as researching the suppliers before you buy.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

I can remember reading a review saying that they take your money and then purchase your item from pixmania or another overseas company(thus it's a grey import), and they get it at a much cheaper price? This would explain the long delays, and the complaints?
Bobzilla it really is frustrating not knowing are they just slow in processing your request, or are they in the midst of going bust in which case you start worrying about losing your money.
This prob wont ease your fears, but I kept checking their eBay shop to see if they were still processing transactions on their.
Just did a search of their eBay shop their now, and unfortunatey they have NO current listings!!?:( Here's the link to check yourself....
Contemplates your right there it is totally frustrating a mean a simple email back to tell me what exactly is going on would be nice and a little comfort at least. But then again they are a cowboy outfit they can get away with it!
I have also been keeping an eye on there ebay site and i seen some time ago that they had stopped using it. I was thinking that maybe they have paid out refunds to some luck few and just shut up shop and moved on.
As i have said before this has never happened to me in my life a total moment of madness on my part. As HO87 has said check before you buy its the only way your going to be sure its a legit dealing. The other annoying thing is that the item i bought of this joke of a company i have since seen at round about the same price from a propper dealership. (Why oh why i did'nt wait that bit longer saved up for nothing)
I just checked the royal mail post tracker and i see for the second time my letter has arrived at ther so called HQ and again has been signed for. So lets just see what BS they come up with now. I have vision of and empty office down there to be honest
I have to call trading standards again on monday and contemplating bbc watchdog. And anybody else for that matter that can help and do somthing about this0 -
so my update so far is:
I am hella tired sending these guys emails (ps: only sent them 7 emails), and will wait patiently for a chargeback process. My bank sent me claim form, 3 days after I phoned them. I sent them out with as many evidence as I could get and lots of hope they will proceed it quickly with paypal. I will try to make a follow up with them within 14 days. So if you guys succeed with the chargeback please update. As far as I know from other people's experience, paypal did refund the money from the JOAG dispute.
Oh yes I see there are no more listing on eBay. There are no camera listing on their website too. Few weeks ago I wrote my review about this company on Trustpilot.co.uk using a real id so i earn more credibility points, and now somebody (I suspect one of these guys) deleted old reviews and tried to register new JOAG page with a good review. Such a shame.
Has anybody tried making a small court claim or calling Ombudsman to solve this case?0 -
Just wanted to update and confirm that I managed to get my money back by disputing via Paypal. I logged my dispute with Paypal on 6th Feb, JOAG had until 16th to respond, and Paypal found in my favour, and then had my money back in my account by 18th.
Ultimately the Paypal protection helps, so hopefully anyone using that, and can detail to Paypal the issue with JOAG, won't be out of pocket in the end.
And in future, I will be checking every company I ever buy from, no matter how reasonable and trustworthy their website may appear to be. Hopefully anybody still waiting for their money back gets it returned, and in good time too.0 -
My case with this joke of all games (scum of the earth) is now in the hands of my bank and trading standards.
God willing i get a good result out of this how ever long it may take! A jail term for this compny would be to kind. Hang em High!!!
Totally disgusted0 -

I made a transaction on their on 30/12 just before VAT increase, but haven't received the item. Numerous emails sent but no contact, or emails back. They took my money from my card immediately, but am worried now that I mightn't receive my new camera.
I know it hasn't been very long, but their delivery states between 3-7 days, and some of their online reviews make for scary reading!
Anyone have any experience?
Edit: I know youre thinkin was I wise after reading the reviews, but I did make a smaller test purchase and the transaction was flawless.0
