Do you think this company is going into administration as I have read lots of bad reviews lately that they can't even deliver the items?

I got my bad experience too. Ordered nikon D3100, paid £399.99 thru paypal. I opened a dispute two weeks after no sign of delivery.
then someone named Tim Monton, (yes I saw somebody mentioned the name here!) emailed me about new shipment coming on 24th jan.

I agreed to wait and close the dispute on paypal! (stupid me, I know).
Now I hope the visa chargeback really works for me! otherwise i'll go mental!

So there is actually a name that works there. I cant understand why a company would do this especially in this current climate when we are all trying to watch our money woes

Jesus Contemplates i hadn't realised you sent so many emails:shocked::embarasse

I to have payed with debit card altough i have a few days yet before i can get the same form you are talking about to fill in. I have however typed a formal letter outlining my case I used a template from the trading standards website they where grate when I phoned them. I am going to send this via recorder mail

We really have been taken for mugs i think

25 emails, only God knows whether they filter our emails and mark them as spam. man, replying emails is a 5 minute job.

hope you guys post some updates if you receive anything from them or refunds from the bank. I think i won't be interested anymore if at the end they send my camera. most ppl said it's grey import so have no UK warranty.
  • I got Paypal involved with this outfit and they ruled in my favour and got a refund would never use them again
  • It's beginning to look as if I have been ripped off by these guys as well. Paid my money, inquired why I had not received item, to be eventually told that it was not in stock (problem with suppliers supposedly). No sign of a refund (or even a reply) despite sending a number of emails to them. Never again!
  • Guys... Perhaps you can breathe a slight sigh of relief..... Today I was checking my online banking ( which I seem to be doing a tad more regularly these days?), and I've received my refund!!!! HOORAY!!

Just as I'd given up all hope! Oh and compared to all previous previous posts, my purchase was SIGNIFICANTLY larger, so if I were you lot, I'd keep my fingers crossed?!

  • Now that is intresting Contemplates maybe things will be looking up for all our refunds. Just maybe? How does that go now with your chargeback dispute form do they just discard it. I sent a trading standards letter to them via recorded mail. I see it arrived and was signed for yesterday. Lets just see if i get any sort of reply back
  • I'll keep my fingers crossed for the rest of you.

As for the chargeback, I wasn't sure what happened, but rang the bank and apparently they will see my refund has come thru into my account and leave it at that.

  • Yes my friend please do.

What is the matter with people? These sites are there to make money, got that? YOUR MONEY!!:mad: It's like betting on horses, you never, in the long run win, got that??? I knew a bookie whose house name was "Muggsaway" Doubtless there are owners of these sites calling their homes similar names in the Bahamas! This rant is done with the express purpose of helping people, so don't waste your time complaining.
  • Hi!
I've got the same situation with this dreadful company, but I've started reacting to all this a bit late... This thread helped a lot actually.
Anyway they've changed my order status to refunded on the 26th and of course there is no money in my account... I called my bank today and tried to get things resolved through the Visa Debit chargeback scheme but they said I need a refund slip from the seller in order for them to be able to act in this situation. But I'm pretty sure I will not get anything seeing how fast JOAG replies to emails (if at all)!

Contemplates, did you have to give any information like that to your bank?

I am so angry with myself for choosing this company. ;(
