After 12 months of half price TV, sports & HD (£26) from the Friends & Family offer last summer, just rang up to 'cancel' on that freephone number. Just said I wanted to leave as the offer was coming to an end, he 'checked what offers were available' and I got 6 months half price TV & Sports, but full price HD, so about £31/month. Not too bad.

I have tried this twice over past few years and been offered nothing. Tried again this morning using the 0800 number, spoke to a lovely gent called Chris and got £10 knocked off per month for next 6 months, I'm happy with that. We usually pay £52, far too much but husband likes sports/me films so don't want to downgrade.

Thanks to this thread I have just saved over £26 per month on my TV package until December - very nice lady called Trish offered it straight away. She also advised to ring in November before my offer expires for another discount :T

I moved and left SKY 2 months ago. Redirected post offered me half price any package for 12 months if I came back. Online, they are not doing half price but they are offering free install and equipment (technically to new customers only).

So I rang last weekend and said what their two offers were and asked if they could combine them. They did!!! So I am having Sky re-installed for free and free equipment at the new house (happened today and it wasn't quite right so need it sorted out) plus 2 entertainment packages plus all the movies for less than I was paying for basic TV at the old house (paying £18.50 for 12 months).

I also rang up the other day, and was immediately offered half price for six months. We have HD, Sports, Movies, and ESPN on top of all the other channels so this is a nice saving for us I only wish i had called them a month or two earlier - we had come off a six month half price offer but were then on full price for two months until I called up again.

ive had various discounts in the past mainly when i cancel sky sports but to get this 50% discount off do you have to say you would like to cancel sky full stop??
