  • Happy to say was also offered 6 month half price - was paying approx monthly £50.75 now £30.50 as have HD with movie package.

I have been unemployed for a few months and was grateful for the Sky offer of a half price deal by an understanding customer services guy ...

I have just ordered HD self set up through quidco £90 cashback coming this wednesday and it has not affected the 6mths half price offer i have got already from feb.

I have tried this and have a half price offer, but checkout says full price, not half price offer I'm getting. Don't want to click the 'Place Order' button and lose the half price deal I'm getting. What did it say to you?

Rang today just a few mins ago and got half price for 6 months, I have hd pack and 3 variety packs so got half price from the channels. I pay 31.75 a month and they knocked a tenner off for 6 months, I am going to cancel the HD pack in a few days so it will reduce it to 11.75 PM thought it would look dodgy if I canceled the HD straight after she offered my half price. Just said it was getting expensive and virgin media had some good offers on. Easy money saved £60 for a 3 min phone call.

Done the same as downs523 but not intentionally! I just rang to lower it because we're skint and they said how about you keep your package the same but we lower the price to 11.25? I said why not! haha. 6 months then I'll ring back and get it removed. Was coming on here to tell y'all about it but I see its a common thing! So will ring in 6 months i guess.

I was on the half price deal last year, after the 6 months were up they wouldn't offer anything.

So I cut the package back, no sport, no movies etc and got the bill down to about £22.

I checked my bills last night and realised I'd been on this package for about 6/7 months so called Sky and got the full Sky World for £26 a month.

I am an existing Sky user and used to have Sky Sports. I got a letter from Sky yesterday offering my Sky Sports free for two months, and with no tie-in period, so I have put it in my diary when to contact them to cancel it, meanwhile I get to watch the end of the football season and the Masters golf for no extra cost! Result!
