Has anyone got the phone number for Cancellations? I'm sure it's in this thread somewhere but I haven't got time to trawl through it.

TIA
Call any sky number and tell them you want to cancel, they'll put you through. Just google contact sky.0 -
OH just tried too and the best he could get was 25% off on a 12 month contract, have cancelled and hope they offer something else or will ring again in 29 days time.
This thread reminded me I need to get a better price for mine. Rang up and was offered 25% for 12 months, said I still wanted to cancel and he consulted with the manager, came back and offered half price for 6 months.
That's £67.50 saved over the next 6 months.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
Well i tried and i didnt really get anywhere, perhaps i played it all wrong. Said that due to circumstances and costs i need to cancel. he said you have a HD box and to be honest we dont really watch HD channels well not enought to warrant the £10 odd a month it costs, so he said he could take that off and its £33.00, said it was still too much and he said what was my budget and i said ideally about £20.00. he said he coudl speak to his manager and get it for £27.00 but i said that was too expensive. So he said he will ptu through my cancellation, perhaps i should have said i'm going to virgin or something. perhaps they will call me back, just saying to someone at work if they dont perhaps it will do me a favour what with summer comming up we will use it less anyway. Can always sign up again september time when the nights draw in.Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0

Just this minute I had a phonecall from Sky, totally out of the blue, offering me 3 months of Movies at half price. Previously it's been 6 months of both Movies and Sports at half price.
I declined, as I have each time they have phoned me with this offer, as I tend to buy films from Box Office if I fancy watching one.
I asked the Sky caller if she could cancel our HD subscription as we never watch any of the Sky HD channels (just BBC, C4 and ITV) and she said that she would get someone to call me back as she was in the 'Upgrade Team' and couldn't sort it for me herself.
So half price deals are still out there, and Sky are even phoning customers up to push them, but it seems they are cutting back a bit (from 6 months to 3 months) and if you already have the package, they seem to be more reluctant to discount.0 -
