I just got around to ringing them myself and have got exactly the same deal that you - half price at £26! Sooo happy!:D

    Hi,

Can I just ask what exactly you and Vinto got for the £26? We'd like to try the same thing so just want to check what it includes please.

    Thanks!

I am thinking about taking up the HD box offer but dont want to be tied in for another 12 months. I might be moving house in about 7 so will need a new dish and things...so being a new customer might be better

    Hi all

I don't have Sky, only Freeview, and have a genuine question to ask - and it is genuine, I'm not being sarcastic!

Apart from the sports channels (and if you're a sports fanatic I can understand people wanting those channels), what is it that Sky offers, and what appeals to people about it? I personally struggle to watch all the freeview programmes I want to, let alone having more to look at.

I appreciate there's a lot of choice on Sky, but do people find time to watch the additional channels they have? Are the channels worth the additional money?

    Just curious!

Well Ive just rang Sky and didnt get offered the half price for 6 months - so maybe its just accoutn specific ? this despite me being with Sky for 9 years, and telling them I was jumping ship to Virgin :(
To be fair I did get an offer on my Phone - so have taken that.

Might go back for more on the Sky TV package another day.

Good for news, financial news channels etc even Sky Sports News - we get that plus Sky News, CNN, BBC 24, CNBC, Bloomberg which I do watch a lot

So do you only pay the extra for the CNN, CNBC and Bloomberg channels, or are there other channels that you benefit from?

    :)

I would completely agree with you here. Many (including me) would have missed this opportunity, surely a saving is a saving or deal, no matter where it is placed on the board.

I will save over £250 this year so i don't care what section it is on, staple it to someones as* if you want, same savings!!

    Thanks OP :j
