hi
just foned sky as my box is faulty. after tests, they agree. they gave me 2 options:- an engineer call - £65
- free sky hd plus £15 p&p but got to pay for hd subscription - really don't want it
The £1,000 emergency fund challenge #163 - £536.16/£10000 -
Just wondered how much you pay for every package. We have exactly the same as you, including ESPN at a discount (I think). The ESPN discount runs out tomorrow. I have just called and got the HD part for half price so will be paying £76.50 per month from next month. It just seems such a lot of money
We have got ESPN plus our broadband with them & are £110 a month, it definitely seems a lot to me per month!0 -
Has anyone on the half price for a year plus £50 M&S vouchers deal actually received the vouchers yet? I can't remember (if I was ever told) how many months you have to wait for the vouchers.
Tks if you can help
When they were doing this deal last year, we hadnt received the vouchers so rung up and they said they would send another lot out.
Couple of days later, both lots arrived!
If they havent arrived soon (In the next week or so) give em a ringSo much for 'Money Saving'0 -
Why is this in the grabbit while you can section? The same thing has been in the work and play section since 2005 and is still going strong with posts exactly the same so hardly likely to be the type of thing that needs grabbing whilst you can. How do I contact admin to move it? I'm only being helpful before anyone gives me abuse.
I for one would only have seen this on grabbit !MSE- The Glitchhikers guide to the galaxy0 -

I don't really understand why you seem determined to sabotage this thread. It has had 140 replies (without including your half a dozen posts none of which have been helpful).
Whilst you seem to have constantly condemmed this thread you are apparantly also reading it??
I am sure admin will move any threads if they have been posted incorrectly - perhaps you are a disallusioned SKY customer stuck in a full price contract - or perhaps you are just another person clogging up the internet with time wasting comments.
I realise that by replying I am providing you with a forum, but hope that you will consider using your time more constructively if you wish to continue participating in this website which is designed for us to help each other.0 -

I would completely agree with you here. Many (including me) would have missed this opportunity, surely a saving is a saving or deal, no matter where it is placed on the board.January GC: £64.81/£80.00
February GC: £24.60£80.000 -
totally agree move it when its lost interest-but in a sense it is a grabbit because theyre seems to be times when sky just dont budge on contracts and other times like now theyre are giving away deals reasonably easy.
hubby just phoned full sky world half price 26 quid for the year.
So big thanks op and wouldnt have seen it if it was in another section so good place to post it!!0 -

Contact abuse @ moneysavingexpert and they will consider your request to move the thread.
However as the thread has proved helpful to a number of people I think you might find they will leave the thread where it is meantime
I personally know of two people today who have contacted Sky on the strength of this thread and are happy to have done so.0 -
