Sky offer to me (existing Customer)

My offer had come to an end, was getting all channels plus movies and multiroom for £30 a month, so I told them to cancel the other day.

I rang them again today and asked what they'd offer me if I took the broadband and Sky talk, so I've now got TV including movies and multiroom, broadband and Sky talk for £42 a month, I'm quite happy with that.

i havnt been with sky for yrs, well not paying, we just have the box running upstairs
if i rang what would be the best i could hope for to start up again with them?

Hmc i would ring and ask what would a package and install cost as virgn offering free install and half price 6mths x
I rang to cancel last week as my offer had finished, was offered 6mths half price , but had to point out id be better going to virgn b4 they offered me it x

I just called to cancel my Sky subscription (was paying half price on everything with free HD) and they didn't offer me anything to stay! They said I could cancel my HD subscription to save £10 a month but was hoping for at least an offer of half price for 6 months.

Darkangel, i would ring back 2moro ask to go to cancelations , when asked why ur leaving say poor cus service and virgin cheaper uve nothin to lose should that fail thes an email addy on this forum which ive used and had great sucess from emailing them .

I've already cancelled it! Everything gets cut off on 12th October so I don't know if it would work if I call cancellations back and speak to them again.

I cancelled a week or 2 ago, I just had a call from sky and they offered 12months half price. :-)

Dont panic and wait nearer to the cut off date. Your cancellation will be picked on by the customer retention dept and more than likely that they will call you.

I cancelled my package and wasn't offered anything to stay. It cut off on the 2nd September so I hung on for a week expecting a call but got nothing. I'm now getting freeview through the sky dish, which costs nothing. I've moved my phone and broadband to another company for £20 a month and will be saving £25 a month just by not having the sky TV. In consequence we are all watching much less TV, I do miss the Disney channel though
