Sky offer to me (existing Customer)

It has been a few weeks since my half-price offer ended.
However during this time I have been building myself up to get in touch with Sky regarding cancellation again after checking what might be offered to stay with them. Having considered what has been offered to forum members recently I wasn't hopeful for half-price again or whether in fact I could see a cancellation through at this time.
Pleased to say that Sky cancellations have today continued my subscription ... offering me 25% off for 12 months. They were however looking to tie me into a 12 months contract with this discount which I felt unable to accept as I would not have had the flexibility to cancel till contract up and in light of my financial circumstances . Rep had a word further up the line and was able to offer me the discount without a 12 month contract tie in - this offer had just become available to me. I am a longtime customer and am happy with Sky's response and offer to me.
I hope this update is helpful to forum members who may also be considering current options.0 -
I had a call from Sky asking why I've cancelled my HD & Movies. I explained due to money so they offered me the HD at 75% off for 12 mths!! That's only £2.50 a month :jLBM 18/06/15 - [STRIKE]£20,276.64[/STRIKE]
01/07/15 - £19,897.020 -
I tried to get an offer for sky hd I had seen on here but it was for friends and family discount only so have now cancelled on friday. I've been paying £40 per month and have been a customer for 19 years but get very few offers from Sky so decideded to cancel. They really p*** me off that they treat long standing customers with indifference. The only thing I regularly watch is Idiot Abroad so youtube it is.Still to break the news to daughter though, she does like disney channel but can't justify that sort of money with no hd either.0

My six months is up and I called on Friday to see what they could do for us.
The best they could do is 25% for 12 months but to ring back in a couple of months to see if they have any better deals to swap too.
I actually got a really chap to talk to.;)A small Thank You can make a BIG difference0 -
I had free everything so grab that.0

I phoned last week and got an advisor who wasn't interested and said she would just cancel me, I didn't like the way she was speaking to me so asked to speak to a manager who was really good and gave me a really good deal. I'm taking my phone and broadband to them and he's giving me free line rental for 12 months, free line installation, free broadband and 25% off my package for 12 months and 3 months free ESPN, so for TV full package inc Multiroom, HD and ESPN I'll be paying £68 a month so I'm quite happy with that. :T0

If you are happy, great, but that sounds a very expensive deal if you ask me - to include all the "free" items and still come out at that price, may be worth checking the itemised breakdown online.

We think the deal we got from the manager was gd deal as it's going to save us quite a bit over the year on what we were paying which was. Sky £85, phone and broadband £30 a month so going to £59(first 3 months) then £68 for the other 9months is going to save us £56 a month and then £47 a month so over a year we are saving at least £500.0

Sky phoned me yesterday and offered me half price TV only (no HD) for £11.25, £7.50 unlimited broadband, £12.25 line rental. Total £31 per month.
Have people had better offers? Annoyed that I'd have to pay an additional £10.25 per month for HD.0
