Were you on Friends & Family (including multi room and HD) or did this just include Variety etc?

Have all chanels plus HD, was offered the multiroom 12 months ago but didn't take it. The only change now is I had HD free but new offer is HD 1/2price so £40 per month for all including ESPN, was paying £35.

If you manage to get a 6 months free offer, are you tied in to a new contract?

Considering switching tv to Virgin but waiting for the best deal and don't want to be paying full price while waiting if I can help it!

so if you do it online and want a sky+ box they charge you 200 quid for the box and 30 pound to install it..

why they didnt tell us this over the phone and give us any options i do not know, some of the sky staff are numb, we have been with sky for 6 days now and weve been on the phone to them 5 times already as they messed up our packages and then proceeded to give us 3 different bill quotes when we called up.

i have emailed complaining to them about why they treat new customers like this, i dont care if we have been with them for 6 days or 6 years..they shouldnt get away with cutting us off, promising our packages will be on in 4 hours and they never came on for 5 days cos we had to chase them up to find out what they been doing wrong and then getting told a different quote for the bill each time we rang up !

It is only £30 setup for sky+ multiroom for new customers, existing customers need to pay £60 setup with first box free (although when I add it to my basket online it still wants £199 off me for the box even though it states free!).

We have Sky full pack and have done for donkeys years. Added phone and broadband a couple of years ago. DH wouldn't contemplate ringing to say he wanted to cancel in the hope of getting a deal.
He then decides to upgrade to SkyHD and multiroom, with the idea of stopping movies and childrens pack. Thinking this would mean our payments would be roughly the same as now.
Anyway, he rang SKY yesterday telling them he would like to upgrade etc etc and wanted to cancel said 2 packs. 'What deal can you do for me ' he asked. Theres me cringing in the corner, saying no, don't ask them, say you want to cancel.
Nice chap from Sky is giving us SkyHD box, multiroom and 25% off for 12 months. DH is well pleased with this, oh and the chap said that the engineer will instal HD box in the lounge and take our Sky+ box and instal that in the bedroom.
